My favourite restaurant in San Antonio. We dined here on Thursday evening and the three people in my party ( including 1 vegan) all agreed that this is an excellent restaurant. We had a great evening: with a warm welcome from the greeting staff; excellent choice and quality of wine; great menu options, superb tasting food and perfect service. Thank you Bliss - we will be back soon.

I called at 5 for a table and they could seat us at 6 or 915 , so plan ahead!! We took the 6 table. The place was about half full . This is a return visit. I was starving so ordered a salad to split with my husband. The entrees are served with sides so you really don't need an appetizer or salad ., The portions are generous.

Everything about it is excellent. We were very impressed. This is the most expensive meal we had in San Antonio but it was worth it. We had hamachi, oysters and braised rabbit. It's one of those really special restaurants.

On a business trip in June, my husband and I endured several mediocre dinners at the start of our week long stay. We wondered how such a big city could have so few good restaurants. I saw 5 star ratings of Bliss and thought, "Yeah, that's what the other ones said, too." We went hoping for an okay meal--and were pleasantly surprised. The physical place is a converted gas station. The original brick and paint are in the first dining room. The add on room, near the courtyard is airy, high windowed, and boasts a nice wine cellar. The service provided by Lico was attentive without being unctuous. Mark Bliss created seasonal, creative, and delicious plates, each prettier than the last. We were so delighted with our find, we cancelled the next night's reservation at another restaurant and returned to find our Bliss! Highly recommend!
