Our group stayed at the Riverwalk Vista in 2005 while attending a conference in San Antonio and we loved it so much that our group of 12 decided to stay there again when our conference returned in 2014.
The Inn features a quaint setting with beautiful antiques and the most modern amenities such as tiled bathrooms with step-in showers and glass shower doors, coffee pots in the room, bathrobes, wonderful towels and linens and free Wi-Fi. There is a “common” area where the Inn-keepers serve fresh brewed coffee all day, fresh baked cookies at 3:00, wine from 5-8 and a wonderful breakfast from 8-10. All of the staff was very helpful and they love to make recommendations for dining and site-seeing.
This Inn sits on the street view of the Riverwalk. All you need to do is cross the street and go down the steps and you are right there. You can take a barge ride along the Riverwalk, dine in one of the wonderful restaurants and/or grab a drink at one of the many bars and outside cafes’. Just a short distance from the Convention Center, the Alamo and the Rivercenter Mall.
There is some street noise but the charm & convenience of the Riverwalk Vista outweighed the noise.
We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to San Antonio.More
