Beautiful church wonderful priest, and the parishioners are the best. We have been attending Mass there for sometime now and never tire of the message that Father Mario delivers. If you are ever in San Antonio, the Cathedral is a must but so is Saint Joseph.

We ran across this beautiful church when we were tired from walking. We went in lit a candle, said a prayer and took in the beauty while we rested in this holy place! There are no words to describe the feeling I had while being in this church. This is a must see!

The Saint Joseph has an authentic catholic atmosphere - colorful, busy with people, a little too opulent, on the edge of good taste. Altogether wonderfully atmospheric. I lit a candle for my deceased parents. Remarkable is that many markings are bilingual in English and German - due to the many German immigrants living in San Antonio in the 19th century.

Around the corner from the Alamo and it was very beautiful inside. There is a man inside making hand made rosary beads.

We went for Sunday 8 am mass and the church is beautiful.!
The acoustics and surrounding are equally impresaive and the congregation was full.
I thought the signs of the cross written in German was equally amazing showing the diversity of the area over the years.
Come for mass or solitude or to see it--- it's beautiful inside and out
