A large group attending my work meeting in San Antonio walked to Landry's for lunch. They had a good lunch menu with a large selection ranging from sandwiches to full fresh fish dinners. I had stuffed shrimp Ponchartrain which was very good, as was the rice pilaf and broccoli that came with it. The salad served before the meal was also quite good. They had no problem with doing separate checks for our very large group, and worked to get us our checks quickly as we needed to get back to our meeting.

Ate here to eat on the riverwalk which.was beautiful but extremely busy. We sat outside under the heaters which was nice but everyone that walked by commentes on our food or pointed--somewhat awkward. Food was delicious and service was excellent but was somewhat expensive. Will sit inside next time and hopefully still enjoy the peaceful view of the riverwalk.

The ambiance of the San.Antonio River Walk is the "saving grace" for this restaurant.
Our dinner tasted as if it had been prepared in a micro-wave oven. The food was unevenly heated. Entre' cold, potatoes hot. The bread served with our salad was soaked in melted butter. Hopefully, one day, we will return to the S.A. River Walk, but we will not choose to again dine at this restaurant, as, all in all, it was very mediocre.

We ate here over the weekend with our two children and I have to say, it was a very good dining experience. Our waitress- Ruby, was excellent! She was very friendly, efficient and interacted wonderfully with our children. Despite the slightly steep prices, the food is delicious and the desserts are to die for, I highly recommend the rice pudding and the creme brulee! We spent about $110 for two adults and two children, it was most definitely worth it. We will be back the next time we're in San Antonio.
