“Don't let the looks keep you away!”

I looked on the Adivsor for BBQ near the Alamo. Getting the in place can be a little confusing but go in thru the side off the walk way. This is a hole in the wall bar but has good and different BBQ, as well a a whole host of Texas beers. We had the brisket nachos and the pulled pork sandwich, both good but the slaw with the sandwich was like none I've had. Beware this is not your neighbors BBQ; try it you might like it.

“Hard to get in, but worth it”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 October 2013 via mobile

On a rainy Sunday, we were ready for a bite to eat after visiting the Alamo. We wanted something simple and local. Through a large glass window, we saw people dining, but it took us awhile to figure out how to get into the place. That's the inside joke related to the Alamo. We enjoyed our Texas brisket tacos. Menu features pub food and Texas beers. Several TVs were tuned to football games, typical for this part of the country. Evenings feature live entertainment.
