Absolutely outstanding. A true hidden gem. Creative cooking without anything "over the top." I would fly to San Antonio just to eat here

Always a favorite for special occasions - just wnet for my 65th birthday.

You can't go wrong with the 8 course tasting menu with wine pairings. Expensive, but worth it.

This is a high end restuarant .. and it is priced like one. If $$$ are an issue, then try the lunches which are less than $20.

If you live in the San Antonio area and you truly enjoy excellent foood AND you have yet to experience The Lodge - call them today to make a reservation. Chef Jason Dady has announced that he is closing The Lodge by year end.

This one will definitely be missed.

On Aug. 20, 2011 my husband and I along with another couple, visited this restaurant. It has a lovely setting. The room we were seated in was so hot that we were all uncomfortable, my husband had sweat running down his back! The server said, "Well, it is summer is San Antonio!" Really??!! It is always hot is SA during the summer. No one apologized or said there was a problem. Couldn't wait to leave. The food was adequate but WAY OVER PRICED!! At those prices, it is ridiculous that you have to pay extra if you would like a tenderloin. Probably won't return, too many bad vibes.

If you're a foodie, The Lodge is a must. For me The Lodge is a food experience as if you have been welcomed at a Chef's table. Chef Dady has wonderful creations, standards, foams, and deconstructed desserts. If you are looking for a truly delightful food experience, visit The Lodge.
