Our stay here was pleasant, even if the weather outside was miserable. Eduardo, the front desk manager, made sure everything was in order. The front desk staff was courteous and helpful. The cost to park was a bit shocking at $20 per day but you do have in and out privileges which is good. But we never got our car because everything was within walking distance. The room was huge! We had a room with two double beds and a pullout couch. The one negative is that the pullout couch was super uncomfortable. My son can sleep just about anywhere and he said it was the worst night's sleep he'd ever had. The double beds, however, were very comfortable. Other than some stains on the carpet, the room was very clean. The elevators are extremely small and slow. You can barely fit a family of four in them, let alone adding a luggage rack to the mix. The breakfast was just "okay". There was a wide assortment to eat: Texas shaped waffle maker, scrambled eggs, sausage, cereL, bagels, yogurt, fresh fruit (bananas, apples, oranges), assorted delicious juices. Kinda hit and miss. The sausage was cold, the eggs were hot and fluffy, the yogurt was warm. So, it seems like maybe things aren't kept at safe temperature levels. The pool is clean, but small. All-in-all, a nice little gem in the heart of the historic district for a decent price.
