The lobby is a converted old bank building with lots of old bank items on display. The marble and architectural work is fantastic. The location In conjunction to River Walk and other tourist sights is great . An easy walk to many areas. Great variety of dining experiences are very local. A so called continental breakfast and a happy hour with heavy hors-devours is served daily and included with your room.

Room tip: Stay in main tower. The south tower requires some adventurous maneuvering.

Road Scholar booked us into this very large hotel with very spacious rooms and wonderful amenities. These included Happy Hour each night of what amounted to a full meal and 3 drinks of what ever beverage you desired.
This included alcoholic or non alcoholic as the visitor may desire.

This hotel was a winner! They serve a fabulous, plentiful, hot breakfast. They also serve hot appetizers at happy hour including 2 drinks, also popcorn at night with sodas. This is all included in your room price. The hotel is housed in an 1940’s Alamo National Bank. The building itself is amazing to wander and see, but the vault is still in the basement to view as well as old photos and memorabilia. It is a perfect location for touring the Riverwalk. We will definitely be back!!!

I only have good things to say about this hotel...The hotel is beautiful...Staff is friendly and helpful...Perfect location...Great rates...This will be my go to hotel anytime I am in the area...All of the little extras they throw in at no additional cost make it an incredible deal...The morning breakfast everything was always hot and fresh, the free soda and hot popcorn made for a great snack at night...The daily Happy Hour (5:30 - 7) was great, each guest is given a card for 3 free alcoholic beverages each evening along with food...Baked potato bar, salad, soup, nachos and other hot dishes that changed nightly... The location is perfect on one end of the River Walk...It is quiet being at the end, all of the excitement is just a 5 minute walk away...We walked to the Alamo in 10 minutes...We did not use the indoor pool, we went to the roof top pool...It was clean and the water was cool and refreshing, I was worried since it was in the 90's, I thought the pool would be like bathwater, it wasn't it was perfect...

The Drury Plaza is a greatly located, historic hotel directly on the end of a portion of the Riverwalk. Simple but fresh hot breakfast was nice every morning. They also have a little complimentary happy hour. Little convenient store directly across the corner was helpful. Rooftop pool and hot tubs were terrific and very clean.
