Good hotel for being in a dense location on the Riverwalk. Outside sounds do carry into the hotel, but no problem sleeping. There are two wings of the hotel and one has to cross the garage and hotel entrance to get from one wing to the other. This was dangerous because of the way cars are pulling in and out of the hotel. There needs to be some safety engineering done here. Was here for a business conference but came in a couple of days early to see the four "other" missions.

Room Tip: Do not get a pool view. The noise will be too much.

We got the deluxe package that included the spa credit, fitness room and complimentary breakfast -- which made this hotel a great value. Great location right on the riverwalk. They struck the right balance with great service, but not smothering us. Glad we chose this hotel.

I could not have asked for a better experience. I loved that it is a historical building and yet had all the comforts of a modern facility. Especially loved the mariachis poolside the first night. Thank you!

My wife and I stayed at La Mansion for our 5th wedding anniversary. We took advantage of the spa package option which gave us a $200 dollar credit at the Mokara Spa located right across the Riverwalk bridge.

Upon checking in, our room wasn't ready. No problem - we were given 2 free drinks and appetizer at the bar while we waited. Our Riverwalk room was immense and had a wonderful view. We wandered over to Mokara and had a great couples massage - beautiful spa, highly recommended!

The location of the hotel on the Riverwalk is great and a short walk took us to our dinner destination. Upon returning to our room, we found a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us. I forgot I had told them that it was our anniversary when making the reservation - what a nice surprise.

The package included a free breakfast buffet at Las Canarias which was also excellent. Every staff member was helpful and gracious. I will definitely stay here again should we return to San Antonio and the Riverwalk.

Excellent Hotel!

Room Tip: Riverwalk room is worth it for the view. And check any packages offered.

Very nice hotel, though don't expect large rooms in general - a bit outdated. Staff experience VERY good and Spa Package was fabulous. Breakfast great. Great access to river - close to everything. If you are looking for sound proof rooms - don't face the river...hear EVERYTHING. Overall experience very nice.
