We had a little mix up with the pick up location at first. (They now meet at the court house.) We received an old email, but after learning where to go from a parking attendant, I can say this was an extremely enjoyable experience.
Me and my friend were lucky enough to be the only two who booked a morning tour and the guides, Josh and Ethan, were everything you could hope for. They were friendly, adventurous, and full of information--not just on zip lines either!
I have to admit zip lining has never scared me, but they do cover all the harnesses, gear, and gestures on 2 practice lines before you ever hit the forest. After that the fun just gets better with one ladder, a suspension bridge, and about 6 lines that you explore the middle of San Juan Island on in a completely different way than just on foot.
You have the opportunity to go backwards on some, twist on others, and bounce on the suspension bridge depending on your level of adventure, but you are never not hooked to a cable. Even if you're scared of heights, this tour is set up with safety and fun in mind.
I can't speak highly enough of our tour guides for the tour, tips, and pictures! Definitely would recommend.
