Had read good things about this lunch only place and the reviews were spot on. Their cheese boards are amazing in texture, taste and variety. The red blend I drank with the cheese was from Walla Walla Washington and I wish I could purchase it here in Arizona!

My friend and I had lunch here on a sunny day. There are many options for cheese plates, and other lunches if you aren't a cheese head. We each had a 2 choice cheese plate. I added lox, and she added some garlicky green beans that came with another lunch option. Our waitress was very nice and the service was great. We ate outdoors in a marvelous little screened off space they have created between old buildings.
Good local beers on tap, too! Highly recommended.

Thanks for visiting our shop!
Glad you enjoyed our cheese boards and the lox.
We change the cheeses on the boards on a regular basis to keep it interesting.
The beers we have on tap are from Island Hoppin Brewery on Orcas Island.
Great combo indeed.
Hope to see you next time!

We had a large group of 12. San Juan Island Cheese is a small, local restaurant, but they were patient and accommodating for our group. They have a lovely "backyard" outdoor eating area. Our server was quick to let us know that they are not prepared for a large group, so we would have to be patient with the service. As we ordered just about every cheese board and all the other items on the menu, they had a tall order to fill! We had a wonder meal, fantastic service and a lovely time! Thank you, San Juan Cheese!

My husband and I spent our 17yr anniversary 4 day weekend at Friday Harbor. We enjoyed our stay and San Juan Island Cheese made it even a better experience. We weren't very hungry, and wanted something light. We ordered the salmon platter and I can't remember the kind of cheese the friendly hostess recommended but it was delicious. My husband had the merlot and I had the Cabernet Sauvignon. What a great treat! We will definitely be going back!

Happy Anniversary!
We enjoyed having you.
Glad you enjoyed it.
The cheese we recommended with the Lox Board was
Seahive from Beehive Cheese Company in Utah.
You can ask your local Cheesemonger about it.
Hope to see you next year!
Thanks.
