“Wonderful time in Santa Fe!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 January 2014

We stayed here with friends for 2 nights. Everyone was very helpful and the lobby was very warm and inviting. They were decorating for the holidays. The rooms were a decent size with nice amenities. We used the hot tub and gathered around the fireplace with a cocktail. Wonderful coffee was available daily. We walked to the square for dinner and explored the many shops. Ate at a wonderful bakery nearby as well as at a restaurant at the station. Highly recommend staying here.

Santa Fe is magical and the hotel was very welcoming! SInce it was just after Xmas, the lobby was still decorated and had a warm fire in the fireplace to greet us! It was freezing cold outside but warm and cozy inside!

Room Tip: The restaurant was excellent in the evening!

My best friend and I decided to make a trip to Santa Fe on Christmas Eve after getting tickets at the Lesin Theater for the dress rehearsal of their Christmas Concert. We arrived at the Hotel Santa Fe, and fell in love with our choice immediately! It was even more beautiful than the pictures on the internet site; the Christmas decorations were lovely. The hotel was so wonderful, we are planning on always staying there whenever we come to visit. The staff members and all the employees of this hotel were wonderful, professional, efficient, and caring. We especially loved the London taxi service. We were whisked away to our destination without a wait on both occasions we left the hotel. The Christmas Buffet was absolutely outstanding; delicious gourmet food from appetizer tables to desert tables. The wine was superb. The hotel is clean, clean, clean, and so comfy, and beautiful! We will return soon, and are already looking forward to our next trip. I lived in Dallas-Ft. Worth for 30 years and this was by far one of the very best hotels I
have every stayed at. Top of the line, and now at the top of our list! And I am a picky and finicky registered nurse!

Room Tip: This hotel is quiet and I really think any room would be great, except if it were close to the eleva...

We stayed at the Hacienda at Hotel Santa Fe for Thanksgiving 2013. Attended the Winter Indian Market. Absolutely wonderful, welcoming and warm atmosphere. The restaurant is outstanding, staff very helpfull and friendly. King Suite with fireplace is simply elegant! The best shower and linens! The free shuttle service to downtown in a London taxi is wonderful! Drivers were great and very helpfull too. Outstanding hotel furnished with beautiful Native American art. Would highly recommend!!!! Thank you for a wonderful visit to Santa Fe!!!

Room Tip: Stay in the Hacienda, quiet, beautiful rooms.

We stayed over New Year's. The service was outstanding. We arrived late and they had assigned us to a different room type behind the elevator which we did not like. They immediately switched us back to the room type we had booked (traditional king) in the back of the second floor. The room was more spacious and much more private in a suite setup with two sets of windows and a small balcony. We also needed a humidifier, extra towels, the down bedding changed to synthetics, and more frequent linen changes - all which the staff accommodated promptly. We enjoyed the breakfast and small workout room each morning, but did not try the spa. The hotel is beautiful and conveniently located on the Paseo de Peralta which encircles the center of town. We used the free hotel shuttle to go to restaurants, a concert at the performing arts center, and to/from the Plaza. We never had to wait more than a few minutes for the shuttle. We had stayed at the Hotel Santa Fe a few years before and enjoyed it just as much the second time. Highly recommended for couples!

Room Tip: The hotel is organized in the shape of a plus sign with the lobby in the center. Ask for a room on f...

We have lodged more cheaply in Santa Fe, but moved up this time to the Hotel Santa Fe, hoping for for a more cozy and atmospheric stay. The hotel beat our expectations! The staff were welcoming without being fawning. The hotel dining room was calming and charming. Our room (a junior suite) was quiet and immaculate. We could walk to the Plaza. We enjoyed the coffee and tea that was set out on our floor every morning. Our only complaint about the whole stay was not the hotel's fault; no museums were open on New Year's Day, as they are in our city. The outside was beautifully lit for the holidays. We didn't try the hotel shuttle but it seems convenient for those without a car. We'll definitely return to this property.

Thank you so much for moving to the Hotel Santa Fe and I am so delighted to learn that you enjoyed your stay with us.

Sorry about the museums being closed, which is indeed unfortunate.

We hope to see you again soon and in the meantime, I hope you all ha ve a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year!
