OK--as those that think $150 a night is pricey, we were stepping out of our comfort zone here, but for Santa Fe, this place is a deal. Not only are the breakfasts superb (I must find out who caters them---we are not talking a continental breakfast here---this is a full on spread), but the wine and cheese hour is also worthy of praise (Charlie is an awesome bartender and conversationalist!). Both are complimentary!
Our room was small but was always spic 'n span. And this location! We were in walking distance of Canyon Road AND the Plaza---almost smack dab right in the middle of both.
So, with the money we saved on breakfasts (seriously, these were so good and the choices were unbelievable there was no reason to venture out to stand in line at Cafe Pasquale), cocktail hours, and parking, this was definitely not a bad rate. (It is also extremely quite for being in the middle of the action.)
I would book it again in an instance. (We also received a small Xmas present of delicious Biscochitos on Christmas Eve.) I am ready to rebook for next year!More
