The hotel is lovely and recommended. Friendly staff, inviting lobby , close walking distance to the center and canyon road. Complimentary shuttle service. Room was fine, bed was very comfortable with lovely sheets. Only drawback was that air conditioning was rather noisy. Breakfast was also fine with enough choices to start the day.

We stayed in the traditional wing and had a lovely room. The entire inn is charming, including the courtyard gardens. Breakfast was exceptional, and we enjoyed the afternoon free wine and cheese hour. The staff are very friendly, helpful and welcoming; the housekeeping staff was exceptional. Other free perks like the free shuttle service were very useful. The location was perfect - within walking distance of the plaza, the Loretto chapel and the basilica, and just around the corner from Canyon Road (site of many art galleries). I would recommend this inn to family and friends.

Room Tip: If you stay in the traditional wing, there are no elevators, so ask for a first floor room if steps...

The Inn on the Alameda proved to be a great location to spend a week in Santa Fe. Centrally located in the city itself; within walking distance of most worth seeing. Quiet, clean rooms with friendly staff and great customer service. Do not miss the daily wine and cheese hour. Stay and enjoy.

Room Tip: Basic rooms are OK but not too large. Pick a room with a balcony, that helps. If going diring cold...

I love the Inn on the Alameda. The people are wonderful, the rooms are comfortable, the included breakfast is great. It's only a 5-minute walk to Santa Fe's plaza and across the road from Canyon Road, the art gallery district, at much less than most (maybe all) other hotels in such close proximity. I've stayed there probably 10 times now, several times for a week in a row, I have had a great experience every time. Already planning the next trip.

Room Tip: No pool, but there is a nice hot tub and robes are provided for the two-and-from trip. All of the ro...

We enjoyed our stay from start to finish. We arrived just in time for the complimentary wine and cheese which was a nice relaxing way to start off. We recommend the mojito as it was quite tasty. Our stay was in one of their smaller traditional rooms with one queen bed. It was just right for us, with a nice tub, small private front patio accessed by a french door, and comfortable bed. The location was prime, with the plaza only a short walk away. It was also easy to walk to the art walk area. The morning breakfast was like dining out with nice hot options. We feel comfortable recommending the Inn on the Alameda to other travelers.

Thank you so much for taking your time to recommend the Inn to others, our deluxe rooms and suites do provide more room for extended visits so it was nice to hear that you found the traditional room very comfortable for your stay.

Hope to see you again soon.

The staff was friendly and helpful; I left a toiletries bag in the bathroom and they quickly shipped it back to me! The rooms were very comfortable with a nice balcony for sunning. The Inn is a block away from all the beautiful galleries on Canyon Road. A bit farther to walk to the square, restaurants and shopping. The free wine and cheese reception at 4pm every day was awesome! Breakfasts offered an excellent variety and started our day out nicely. I would definitely go back and highly recommend this Inn.

We had a last-minute booking here for a Deluxe King room. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hot breakfast was tasty, with lots of options. Free parking, wifi, housekeeping was nice, turndown service, and a quiet location off the Passeo de Peralta.
