My wife and I stayed here on a one night stop in Santa Fe. It was absolutely great. The hotel is a little difficult to find (It is in West Water Street which is dissected by the Hilton so there are 2 parts to the road and the hotel is in the far western part father road). The location is fantastic just 2 blocks from the old town centre. Our arrival was very welcoming. The room was very clean, absolutely beautiful and spacious and the bathroom and shower delightful. We had the ground floor corner room nearest the restaurant. We had a fireplace with wood log fire, which we used in the evening. The bed was sumptuously comfortable. Breakfast was continental. We had dinner in the restaurant listening to a live pianist. The menu was varied and full of choice I had elk and my wife had scampi shrimp. Both meals were delicious.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the reception complex with a fire.

I stayed in the Cheyenne Suite for one night earlier this month. The suite itself was wonderful with one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. There is a great bar with live music and delicious cocktails and the customer service was superb. The location itself is perfect and only a short walk to the Plaza and centre of Santa Fe. I hope to return here again and stay for longer when I next visit New Mexico.

My husband and I had our first stay at the Inn for one night. It was a beautiful place. Room and bath were huge and exceptionally decorated. It was very clean and inviting. Not much views but didn't expect that as it's right in the old town, walking distance to everything. So a great location.
It was on an extremely quiet street which we loved. The bed was superb. The mattress was big, comfy, and cozy. We both slept exceptionally well, which is not typical for either of us the first night in a new place. I would recommend it highly. It's at the higher end of our price range for out of season, but actually a bargain for the quality. The receptionist was terrific also. Welcoming and very helpful. We look forward to many stays when we have more time to vacation.

Authentic Mexican style, warm, welcoming staff, especially enjoyed the in room fire, everything was provided for a comfortable stay. The Vanessie is conveniently located just a few minutes walk from the Plaza. The on-site restaurant has an on site restaurant which great menu choice and live music, would definately stay there again.

We arrived at this beautiful pueblo inn and could not have been happier. Interior was just everything and more - beautifully appointed in traditional way. Only short walk to the best jewellery, artefacts shopping and wonderful restaurants. Only shortfall was the continental breakfast a bit average and service slow and had to ask for water in room and had to ask for shower supplies daily. Would love to go back one day.

We were only fortunate to stay one night but the room and staff were wonderful. Andrew was a great help in answering many of our questions and was able to lead us to a perfect place to hike. This hotel is perfectly located to visit the plaza and the rail yard. I highly recommend it and next time I'm in Santa Fe, I will stay here again.

We loved our upstairs king bed room in the adobe building of the Inn. I had requested a "bright", airy room and our request was accommodated. From the entrance of our room with complimentary water bottles, teas, etc., to the luxury linens, towels and toiletries, I knew we were going to have a pleasant and comfortable stay. The adobe building at the Inn houses 3 rooms and the walls, ceilings and bathrooms (ours had a walk-in open shower) are wonderful. A quaint fireplace in the corner as well (that we didn't need in August), and our corner room lended itself to plenty of sunlight and windows. Loved it. The breakfasts were a generous continental breakfast - no service, but good, simple, food and some variety. The small covered Jacuzzi for guests made for nice, late night soaks with a bottle of wine. Very romantic and great décor throughout.
We kept our windows closed at night to avoid the hours of amateur karaoke singing that seemed to never stop from the restaurant. We dined in the restaurant at the Inn our 2nd night - and I would recommend dining elsewhere. We stayed on a Monday and Tuesday night and both nights the place was packed with seniors enjoying karaoke for hours on end. A shame really, as the piano bar player is excellent and it would have been nice to enjoy our meal with the pianist playing and/or even singing instead of listening to so many amateurs one after the other piping out "Memory" etc. while we were dining. My husband and I are in our late 40s and mid-50s, and we were the youngest guests in the restaurant/bar. Go elsewhere for dinner - plenty of great places within close walking distance. It's a shame as the restaurant itself has some lovely attributes and great artwork. Perhaps the karaoke doesn't extend to the weekend nights? One can hope. Now if you love karaoke this is the place for you! You can walk from your room and never have to take a car anywhere during your stay for late night entertainment.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the adobe building if you'd like some good character in your room. All rooms...
