This was my first trip down here. The inn was recommended to me. I really like this place. The courtyard is a relaxing place. Actually I am writing this review out here now. The suite was clean, housekeeping was as should be. I would come again

Room Tip: Ask for the Tesuque suite. I thinks it's just a great space.

We stayed in Galisteo at the Inn at Vanessie for four nights. The bed was very comfortable, the linens were of high quality, and we had ample pillows. The room was also very quiet--in fact, absent of any intrusive sounds, which I find is a rarity these days when I travel. The room includes a day bed that was a great place to read. There was also a small sun room with a chaise lounge and small table with two chairs. The sun room opened to a small and private sunbathed patio. A pleasant and sufficiently roomy bathroom, a small fridge, a safe, a fireplace, and a small sound system for our iPod meant we had a very relaxed and enjoyable stay. The room can be blessedly dark when retreating from the brilliance of the Santa Fe sun, but the room's ample lighting fixtures also allowed many levels of brightness depending upon the desired mood. The room is one of the rooms off a charming old-world courtyard, shaded and cooled by a very mature growth of wisteria that forms its light-speckled ceiling. Breakfast is provided and the room where it's served is lovely. The Inn also has a restaurant and lounge with live music offered on a pretty regular basis. We would definitely return to this inn.

We've stayed at this property many times but not since it became Inn at Vanessie. We were a little worried about what we might find but the only changes were for the better. Our room was gorgeous, more like a suite, really. Great bed and linens, great toiletries, whirlpool tub, bathrobes and Starbucks coffee! Breakfast was delightful with omelettes cooked to order in addition to the usual bed and breakfast fare of fresh fruit, yogurt, croissants, etc. Lovely in every way...just what you'd expect in the Land of Enchantment, Santa Fe!

Room Tip: Room #7 is very large...steps from the front door lead down into a "great room". Huge bat...

This lovely inn had spacious rooms, a very friendly staff and was a short walk from the main square. They said it included continental breakfast but while enjoying bagels, fresh fruit, yogurt and juice I was asked whether I would like scrambled eggs or an omelet. Lovely!

Loved the room with a real fireplace, sitting in the afternoon sun in the sunroom in the restaurant, listening to music and singing in the bar and the general friendliness of everyone at the Inn. Good location to base yourself in if you just want to walk around Santa Fe, but plenty of parking as well if you are venturing outside the city.

We just returned from a 10 day stay at this charming inn and we cannot speak highly enough about the cozy rooms(ours had a fireplace, sun-room, private courtyard and 2 fireplaces!) , the hospitable staff and the fabulous location! The rooms are decorated in a charming, laid-back style - like the people who live in Santa Fe! The location is perfect - we walked to the Plaza, the theater, museums, galleries, the railyard and to a different restaurant every night. The beds & linens are absolutely luscious ....we slept in every single morning! Breakfast is served each morrning and includes a variety of breads, bagels & croissants, several varities of fruit & berries, granola and yogurt - plus your choice of a selection of eggs/omelets - the perfect way to begin our day before we ventured out!! The wait staff, housekeepers and manager were all most personable and so very eager to please. We have recommended this lovely Inn to all of our friends - and WE WILL RETURN!
(Special thanks to MaryAnn in the restaurant - such a lovely lady!)

Room Tip: Choose a room with a private court-yard - you can enjoy an early cup of coffee under the NM sun!

This place is a quaint gem downtown within walking distance to most attractions. The rooms were gorgeous and decorated beautifully. The inns keeper was always polite and helpful. The breakfast was homemade and everything was fresh. It is a perfect romantic get away.
