A gem of a hotel in a great location. The property is tastefully appointed, the service is exquisite, and the hotel is luxurious without being pretentious. During the booking process I mentioned that we had a 10 month old and I was concerned about him rolling off the bed; when our room was turned down on the first night, the staff had installed a guard rail on the bed! The staff goes above and beyond to meet the needs of the guests. The hotel is just the right size - it feels intimate but never crowded. The bar area is perfect for late night (or early night!) cocktails. What a perfect stay. We will definitely be returning to Santa Fe in the future and staying at the Inn.

My wife and I share November birthdays and have a long standing practice of taking a short trip to celebrate. Over the past few years , Santa Fe has been our favorite destination and the Anasazi has been the hotel of choice. It's simply perfect. The location is superb, the rooms are comfortable as are the beds. There isn't even a hint of deferred maintenance here. The staff is gracious and helpful. We have stayed in numerous accommodations over the years and this is tops.

Gorgeous boutique hotel in the heart of Santa Fe. Beautiful decor in the common areas. The concierge was particularly wonderful. 1 min walk to the main sites!
My only complaints were that the fireplace in the room was unimpressive, always shutting off within a few minutes and giving off no heat. I was really looking forward to using it.
The Anasazi stories every night, left as a card in our room, were a beautiful and unique touch I really enjoyed.

Room Tip: Ensure your room has a good fireplace

The ambiance, based on Old South West themes was excellent. The location was right around the corner from central downtown Santa Fe. The service was also excellent. Of course we paid well for it. My only complaint was that the aspect ratio on the in-room TV was so off that watch a cloths dryer would have been preferable. At least it would have looked real.

We loved the Inn of the Anasazi in Santa Fe. It was a perfect location, right off of the square, so it was easy to walk to lots of great restaurants and shops. As someone else said, it was beautiful, yet not stuffy or pretentious in any way. We also thought the food was very good in the restaurant. Folks were very friendly and ready to help in any way they could.

This is a delightful little hotel decorated in authentic azrec style in a pueblo edifice.
The location is dynamite, a block from the Plaza which is the hub of activity for Santra Fe.
We were disappointed with the amenities. There is no fitness center..they offer to bring a treadmill or eliptical to your room. This is just not acceptable in todays era for a luxury resort.

Noise is also an issue. I asked the front desk person not to book us by an elevator whih he assured me they would not. When my fiancee and I arrived at the room, it was directly beside the elevator. In addition, really annoying church bells ring hourly that woke us up every morning!

There is no hot tub and no pool which was a real downer as well.

The food is delicious there. Plus they serve hot apple cider in the evenings and warm cookies.
The cider is wonderful but they remove it by 10PM sharp each night...sigh.

Our favorite was the fireplace in the bedroom which was so comforting and romantic. They even have a humidifier in the room which helps a great deal in this climate.

I found out at the end of my 4 night stay that the hotel is going to be renovated shortly so maybe that will address some of these items. I would be willing to try it again as we are frequent travelrs if management offered to make us an accomodation for the various issues we encountered as overall it is a lovely place to stay.

Room Tip: Definitely choose a room with a fireplace that does not overlook the garage like ours did!

I had a late lunch when only the bar was available with a limited menu. The little empanadas (I got a combo of the corn one as well as the beef and loved them both) were delish but $17? Too much. Chips (not great) and guacamole $12. Friendly and great service.
