We loved our stay at Rancho Nambe and encourage you to look into this B&B when you are in Santa Fe.
I originally chose it for its location. Bandelier was high on my list and I need to hike before it gets too warm. Rancho Nambe's location is perfect for exploring both Santa Fe and all the amazing places nearby, especially to the west and north.
What we found was a beautiful historic estate with gorgeous grounds, absolute quiet and peacefulness, great food and amazing hosts.
We were there mid-September during those 3 rainy days, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise. We thoroughly enjoyed our leisurely mornings chatting with Dick and Sarah about the many things they have worked on and explored during their years in New Mexico. We changed our itinerary to include Chaco Canyon because of their expert advice.
Rancho Nambe is not a sanitized Hilton Hotel. It is a real adobe historic place. If you are looking for an experience that you will long remember as being truly part of New Mexico, and would enjoy some peace and relaxation, stay here.More
