Just finished making our 2013 spring break vacation reservations at the Old Santa Fe Inn,as usual the front desk staff were extremely helpful and patient as I tend to ask alot of questions..Alex (Alejandra) was so good natured and polite that I felt compelled to write a review on how professional, kind, and willing she was to make sure our needs were met. This is one of many reasons we keep returning to the Old Santa Fe Inn!

What a find! We were travelling with a pet, and chose the Old Santa Fe Inn based on TripAdvisor reviews.

This hotel is taking a ‘simple’ (their words) path towards hospitality. They provide a great breakfast. They provide amazing customer service going well above and beyond expectations in helping with any special needs and providing local information. They allow pets (just tell them before you arrive – extra fee, of course). I was almost afraid to mention anything, for fear Michael would jump on the chance to go ‘above and beyond’ in helping us feel comfortable at the Old Santa Fe Inn. Simply amazing customer service seems to be the norm here.

The best part of this accommodation is that you can drive and park just outside your room’s door…just like with the old-school motor hotels (motels). This was a great help for our elderly dog travel-mate. The best part is, there’s the State Governor’s lawn just across the street to take care of business – just pick up the business and dispose in the trash can down the street  .

The rooms are very quiet. The beds are comfy and the sheets and linens are in good shape. The in-room perks include Starbucks with your in-room coffee maker, remote-controlled modern and quiet a/c, a newer flat-panel “LG” brand TV of a good size, and expanded cable. You also get a microwave and fridge that are functional and quiet. The housekeeping is top-notch and the rooms were as clean as could be.

We’ll be back!

Room Tip: Let the staff know when making your reservation with a pet. They are very accomodating, but would li...

With nothing to compare to in Santa Fe. It seemed a bit over priced. No doubt, it is clean, good location, but the price seemed high for a bedroom and a bath. Will not come back for a second visit, not the value I was looking for.

This hotel is very conveniently located, just a block away from old santa fe. Clean, comfortable rooms, nice staff. We only used the free breakfast once in 4 days, because cafe pasqual is so close, but it was great to be able to get a free cup of starbucks all day, The bed was very comfortable, and the courtyard style of the inn reduces noise. All in all, it was a very relaxing experience.

This inn is perfect as it has the touches to spoil you without any pretension. The rooms were nicer, higher quality than the pictures portrayed. The beds were extremely comfortable with a down blanket on the bed that was light and easy on tired bones. The amenities were very nice...Starbucks coffee for the one-cup coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator, nice bathroom products with a great, heavy linen curtain that separated the sink/closet area from the bed area, making a wonderful little dressing room. We did not use the television or the heater/air conditioner, but did take advantage of the wifi in the room, which was always available with the same easy code over the thee days we were there.

Since we are late sleepers, the breakfast ending at 9:30am meant we did not get to partake. But the set-up looked wonderful, including a breakfast burrito bar!! Why can't there be brunches that last to noon!!! Oh, well...here, there and everywhere the same. Fresh cookies at 4pm, which I did partake in and the baskets of apples and coffee, tea and hot chocolate were always available in the lobby and sitting areas. It felt quite decadent with syrups and fresh cream for your coffee.

Just across the "river" (barely a creek now) from the main plaza area and across the street from the Veteran's Memorial, this was perfectly placed to give easy access to old town and a quiet neighborhood, too. We loved our stay. Be prepared to stay here as long as you can, or you will be truly sorry.

Room Tip: We stayed in #33, a twin room. It backed to a parking lot for professional offices and found it very...

First time to NM on a road trip and couldn't have picked a better spot. The inn was conveniently located and very reasonably priced. Our room was spacious..seemed almost new! Very up to date. The staff was incredibly friendly and helped us find a great restaurant for dinner. The afternoon guac and chips and the morning breakfast were the icing on the cake. Highly recommend staying here if you're in Santa Fe!!
