My sister and I recently spent four cozy nights in below-freezing Santa Fe, and El Farolito itself was the highlight of our visit. It is located just inside the Paseo Peralta so a short walk from the plaza, a little longer walk (in nicer weather) to Canyon Road, and easily accessible to the Paseo for driving elsewhere. Wayne is an amazing source of information--not only about restaurants and galleries, etc., but about absolutely anything having to do with Northern New Mexico, past and present. Cherie is always welcoming and knowledgable and quick to respond to and even anticipate special requests. Breakfast and afternoon tea and cookies were always delicious, our room (the Peralta) lovely, cozy and delightful with a pinion fire laid for us every day and incredibly comfortable beds. A truly great place to stay in Santa Fe.

Room Tip: The Peralta was a great room with twin beds.

We would like to thank Wayne and Cherie for the wonderful hospitality. The Galisteo room was beautiful with local art, the bed was as comfortable as it was stunning and cleanliness is a priority. A very short walk and we were at the decorated for the holidays plaza of Santa Fe. If we ever come back to Santa Fe, we know where we will be staying again.

We stayed in the Casita Madre which as a casita, was technically separated from the nearest room. That said, honestly, it was so lacking in soundproofing that you could have heard the breath of someone standing in the driveway or past the casita on the way to their room or car. We were only there for one night and the hotelier was perfectly nice, but we wouldn't stay here again.

From calling pretty much the last minute to Wayne to set up roses for my wife, to the ever helpful Sherie this place is well deserved to be in the best B&B's in the country. Loved Santa Fe so much we looked at options to relocate in the near future. The Inn is a 5 minute walk to the plaza, can't beat location. Room had kiva fireplace and used it every day. If we do move here I feel we got a head start on new friends and neighbors, thanks Sherie,it was too short a week.

We stayed at El Farolito B&B for one night. Accomodations were excellent. Had previously booked a queen room but they had a king available so they switched us. Beautiful room, very southwest, great art , dining room and sitting area were really nicely decorated and comfortable. Very quite at night. Breakfast was awesome. Hostess and housekeeping very nice and very sociable and made our stay OUTSTANDING. Would highly recommend.

We visited El Farolito Bed and breakfast inn because they offered a Veterans Day stay for myself and my fiance. It was such a beautiful experience. The breakfast was delicious and the room was wonderful. Our room included a kiva fire place and a private patio. The service at the inn was superb. We will, without a doubt, return for another vacation, not only because they honor and appreciate their veterans, but because they offer such a memorable experience. The plaza is a short walk away and offers the perfect location for a perfect Santa Fe experience.

The El Farolito may be our favorite B&B. We loved having a separate casita( #3 - Casita Acequia Madre). Gave us a ton of privacy. Loved having the wood burning fireplace/kiva. added nice pinon smell.

convenient to the square and Canyon road (unless you don't want to walk for 10 minutes or so).

breakfast was very good.

staff were pleasant.

we recommend highly. can't wait to get back.
