“Fantastic stay, great location”
Reviewed 8 July 2014

We just got back from staying at this hotel and could not be more pleased with our stay. It was perfectly located next to the plaza. Lots of shopping all around us. The bed was super comfy and the room was really quaint. And it looked like all room have balconies which was nice for coffee in the morning. We really took advantage of the 4th floor terrace. Great views. We only ate breakfast at the restaurant downstairs, but it was outstanding both mornings. Best breakfast I've ever had to be honest. Highly recommend this hotel for your next stay in Santa Fe.

Good location, nice facilities, and friendly staff are the main pluses for this hotel. However, at these prices it is very disappointing that they charge guests $21 per night for overnight parking and another $15 per night for "resort fees" such as use of the business center and internet service. When free wi-fi access is standard across many other hotels, coffee shops, etc. it's surprising that this hotel charges a fee for wi-fi service to its guests. They should either build these costs into their room prices or provide them gratis--these 'add-on' costs are just a deceptive way for this hotel to make their room prices look lower than they actually are when advertising their room prices on online sites such as tripadvisor, expedia, or booking.com. One last comment: our closet was not very large and was very inconveniently located in the bathroom--not a very good location to place a room closet.

Enjoyed our stay at Loretto. Staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and neat, food was great! The meeting rooms were comfortable, and the amenities (water, pens, pencils) plentiful. We had one billing error which was corrected graciously and immediately.

Had the opportunity to join my husband for his conference at the Inn and Spa at Loretto. Completely pleased with the inn/spa. Our room and balcony provided a view of the St. Francis Chapel--we became quite familiar with the peals of the bells! The room was fabulous--cozy, romantic, comfortable bed (we slept great) and all the amenities you might want (from bathrobes and slippers to the cute New Mexico stuffed bear on our bed (o.k., true confessions, I loved the bear so much I brought him home with me! It's allowed, for a small additional fee--I dare you to resist). Since my husband had working breakfasts as part of his conference, I enjoyed the inn's restaurant both mornings. I sat outside at a lovely spot where I could watch the locals setting up their booths to sell jewelry and crafts downtown. The French Toast was delicious, service was great; what a relaxing way to start the day. The inn is just a block from the downtown square, so I enjoyed exploring all the shops and vendors during conference hours. There wasn't anything we couldn't get to by walking. Spent one morning at the spa, getting a completely relaxing pedicure (anti-gravity chair? you bet!) and manicure. The staff at the hotel were great, starting with the valet who gave us five-star treatment and called us by name the next day. Concierge was very helpful when I needed to find a place to rent a car. Can't think of anything that wasn't nearly perfect the whole time. Would definitely return.

On the edge of bustling, charming "downtown" Santa Fe is the Inn and Spa at Loretto. Park your car and walk....to the plaza, museums, by the river, to the sidewalk cafes.... And then come back to your oasis. An elegant, yet invitingly comfortable, Inn. The decor is exquisite, the colors luscious, the shops and galleries inviting, the rooms immaculate and well appointed. The best of the best is the service, gracious, friendly, rofessional. Newcomers to the area, we had questions. The front desk staff and concierge made it all easy. The lounge and bar by the fireplace was my favorite sitting spot. The coffeehouse, in house, was excellent. Guess you can tell...we loved it and would go back in a heartbeat.

A friend and I were on a Santa Fe/Taos road trip, and we found the Inn at Loretto very comfortable and more upscale than I would have imagined, having read the reviews. We followed reviewers' advice and requested a room on an upper floor. Our third-floor room had lots of light anda nice view of the back of the Loretto chapel and the shops near the square. The room was impeccably clean, and everything was in good working order. The usual toiletries are supplied, as are robes, iron/ironing board, hair dryer, etc. The free WiFi worked great. We enjoyed breakfast at Luminaria and bar food/drinks in the Living Room. Desk staff were professional and cordial. The hotel is within easy walking distance of many Santa Fe attractions, and is a short distance from Route 84. All in all, I would recommend the property very highly.

Luminaria restaurant is wonderful. Nice updated look, delicious food and cocktails. The patio is best in all of Santa Fe.

We stayed in a deluxe one bedroom suite which the website says has been "newly remodeled" but the bathroom and especially the kitchenette seemed very dated. Bed was super comfy with a nice view out the doors to the balcony.
