I stayed here two nights. I was underwhelmed. It's a former Days Inn, but it hasn't changed, except to maybe age a bit. A computer glitch somehow erased my confirmed reservation. They fixed this, to their credit. They hold themselves out primarily on the basis of the "free full breakfast." No such breakfast is ever truly free, and, in this case, it isn't full. When one says full breakfast, one expects, among other things, potatoes, which I love. However, they only serve potatoes every other day. So, two different types of scrambled eggs (florentine and plain), and the obligatory green chili, but no potatoes? Anyway, the rooms are small, dated, and showing age: tiny fiberglass bathrooms with sliding closet doors. The air conditioning was not thermos controlled, and didn't work well. There appeared to be some sort of laborers living long-term on the third floor, and they seemed to like to loiter occasionally in the halls. The location is undesirable for tourists, in any case, as it's actually outside of the Santa Fe city limits to the south, and is a bumpy, longer than expected drive through road construction up Cerillos Road to the attractions. At $150 per night for the spartan room, I would hardly call it a value. La Quinta's are generally nicer and cost less. The one "free" drink at the manager's reception is limited to beer and wine, and was served with no nonsense and no personality by the barmaid / maid at the reception, which, incidentally, was not attended by the manager.

Clean room, friendly, helpful staff and the best "free" full breakfast we have ever had in any hotel! We did not mind the extra distance to get into town from the Inn, but at times the trip become tedious due to road construction. We found several great "local restaurants" in the vicinity on Cerrillos Rd.

While we were at the hotel, there were many evacuees from the Los Alamos wild fire. The hotel offered these families a free dinner buffet every night during their stay.

We definitely will be back!

Location is a short distance off I 25 and easy to locate, the only draw back being ther is nothing with in walking distance from hotel. The hotel and rooms were nothing but avg and that is not a bad thing, being in some really bad hotels this one is really acceptable. Friendly staff, nightly two drink reception, and full breakfast,if your looking for a no frills stay with a quick distance from the express way this might suit you well.

We paid $90 including tax per night for a 5 night stay. It includes a free hot breakfast, which was very good - couple types of eggs, sausage/bacon, biscuits, oatmeal, cereal, juice, and 24/7 good tasting coffee! You could easily spend $15 on breakfast for 2, so $90-$15=$75 is an awesome deal for this property.

The good: staff was friendly, operable window in the room, great shower: water pressure and shower head.
The bad: tiny pool that felt crowded with 3 people in it, jacuzzi only marginally warmer than the pool, wheezy refrigerator in room, slight hum of freeway traffic, even with the window closed.
The ugly: vending machine was out of water, typical hotel wall-mounted air handler that should be branded Pratt and Whitney because it sounds like a jet even on the low setting.

This hotel is rated 3 star but needs work to earn it. What we liked: Friendly staff, free dinner and drink, nice appointments in room. However, the bed had sheets and a blanket covered with different people's hair. We had to call down twice and after two attempts finally got clean sheets and blanket. We put them on ourselves because we felt bad tying the staff up for so long! (At least they were friendly; we got verbal apologies, but now adjustment to the cost for all our trouble). It was obvious the sheets and blanket had not been washed for a long time. The clean sheets and blanket glowed in comparison. I shudder to think about the carpet, where hair and dirt was not evident. Also, the fitness center need some attention and repair on equipment. By the way, the room and bathroom were nice, but small. I have never written a review, but felt compelled to share this.

Oooh, Fashion Outlets of Santa Fe within a pool splash away!

Well conceived use of space decorated beautifully with Rio Grande pueblo tastes. The location doesn't hurt a bit either. You might consider this place for a small meeting. Like the Rodeo Clown reunion did for the 2011 Santa Fe Rodeo.

Yesterday I drove into strip mall Santa Fe. It gave me deep apprecation for where I've stayed this week. The Inn at Santa Fe is on the edge of Santa Fe's next growth spurt, easy off and on from the US 25 Santa Fe bypass, fairly close to the Roadrunner mass transit system, unplagued by stoplight induced parking lot traffic north on Cerillos during the day where most of the other hotels are located. North a bit, Cerrillos and Airport Road intersect. There's your traffic. Yes this is south of central Santa Fe, but transportation is easy.

My room had everything I expect; comfortable bed with tasteful cover, pillow plethora, clean sheets, microwave, flat panel, coffee pot, hair dryer, clock, phone, ironing board and a space travel suspended animation capsule shower unit. The work area/dresser is spacious and there's a hanger area for clothes.

They advertise a full breakfast. It's served in a beautifully decorated, relaxing room with a winter fireplace.

You'll pay a bit more for the stay. Would I return? You betcha. It's a second honeymoon Sweet D!
