The food is average at best and the environment is noisy. There is nothing in particular that is noteworthy. An average, large restaurant. There are many better around.

We went at 8 pm after beach. Everyone was happy because there was a great choice for everyone. Portions are a huge so consider sharing.

We never went to a Claim Jumper before. The menu was large. The food was good. This chain also owns many other restaurants like The Chart House and The Rainforest Cafe.

If you like eating huge amounts of fried and quite often unhealthy food, then come here. Prices are high for the quality of food you receive. This is a typical chain that is popular with families.

I always enjoy a meal at Claim Jumpers -- the steaks are excellent, the seafood is good and there are several comfort food items that hit the spot. The desserts are ridiculous: one slice of their six-layer cake lasts me for days, and their apple-pie-topped cheesecake is to die for.
The atmosphere has a roomy and open rustic-lodge feel with oversized everything, yet it still feels a bit dark and intimate. Never had a problem with the service.
