“Great experience for Mother's Day! ”
Reviewed 13 May 2014 via mobile

My husband and I went with our two young sons. We had a very good dinner of authentic Mexican food. The restaurant has a look of Mexico City. But what's exceptional are their Margaritas. I had the Hibiscus with Strawberry and Silver Patron. It was $15 but the huge size made it worthwhile. My husband's Cochitita Pinal was great. This Yucatan dish is difficult to find. My Enchiladas Suiza were ok...A little bland but generous with the chicken. The kids menu was sufficient. I was disappointed that they were out of Tres Leches cake but the Banana Flan on banana bread was very good. However, the Chocolate Creme Brulee with chilies was outstanding! Deep dark chocolate flavor not too sweet with a little kick of heat.

“New Take on Mexican Food”
Reviewed 12 May 2014

This is Mexican food with a difference, forget what you know from Del Taco this is refined Mexican food at its best. Definitely one of the best places i ate during my stay in Thousand Oaks. The setting is very nice with lots of interesting objects.

Highly recommended, especially considering the standard of the other restaurants nearby.

“My Favorite Mexican”
Reviewed 25 April 2014

Love the atmosphere and the servers are excellent. They make a great margarita and the guacamole is perfect! Homemade chips and salsa are the best I've ever had. As for the entrees, they are not large but for me, that is perfect. I have tried many items and enjoy every one. Nothing is greasy. Food is prepared "healthy" and the flavors are incredible edible. Always try the ceviche, especially the Alaskan Halibut. Again, the staff is excellent and the chef creates some truly amazing meals. Never ever disappointed here and can't seem to want to try another Mexican after trying this. If you want really large portions, however, this is not a place for you.

“Great Food”

Wonderful appetizers, especially the buffaloe taquitos. The homemade corn tortillas are a must and the turkey chile relleno is baked, not fried and delicious.

“expensive!”
Reviewed 4 March 2014

Great food and margarita's but at the end of the day it's mexican and should be reasonably priced. The decor is nice but the bill was a stinger!
