My boyfriend and I went to the Melting Pot for our three year anniversary. Neither of us had been there before and were not quite sure what to expect. We went over the menu several times at home leading up to our reservation night, in hopes of trying to figure out what we wanted.
When we got there, the restaurant was smaller than I had pictured, but each booth was pretty private and we loved the ambience of the whole place, especially as it got a little busier. We decided to go with the Four Course Classic and boy were we in for a treat!!! We started with the cheddar fondue, it was absolutely amazing with the bread, apples, and veggies. Then we each got a salad of our choice, the main entree, and the Original chocolate fondue, which was to die for!
Each bite was delicious and it was such a fun experience to dip & cook our food together right at our table. Our server was very friendly and knowledgable about the items on the menu.
We loved our experience at Melting Pot and will definitely go there again for a special occassion, or maybe just for dessert!

We are MELTING POT fans since we lived in Maitland, FL, in the mid-1970s where the first one opened. Have eaten in at least a dozen different MELTING POTS .

This one was the best: Quality and quantity of the food was wonderful. Service was perfect.

Highly recommended.

We arrived at around 7 and got seated by our hostess, who sat six of us at a table for four, and had to ask our server to move us to a more accommodating table. Drinks where a disappointment, Coke was flat, had to explain how to make a drink to the bartender, and they will not serve a double anything. The food menu was hard to understand without having some one come explain it to you. We got the big night out, and two people got the French Quarter. The first course was ok, basic bread, apples, and veggies with a cheese sauce. The dinner salad was excellent. Dinner came, and what a disappointment. The big night out was a small lobster tail, four pieces of tuna, some shrimp, steak, potatoes, and few dumplings Now for those of you who are thinking this a lot of food, it is NOT. The sizes where small. Like the size of a silver dollar small. The french Quarter was a disappointment as well. Four pieces of chicken breast, four shrimp, four pieces of steak, and four slivers of Andouille sausage. The chicken looked like two chicken mc nugget sized cuts, the steak looked like half a steak cut into fours, four small shrimp, and the sausage was smaller than hot dog and cut into four paper thin slivers. And, the whole dish was covered with enough Cajun seasoning to kill a horse. Then, to top it all off, you have to cook the entire meal yourself. Desert was the greatest disappointment of all. Chocolate dipping sauce, with two strawberry's cut in half, a thin sliver of cheese cake, dime sized brownie chunks, marshmallows rolled in Oreo crumbs and gram crumbs, and plain bananas. When all was said and done, the bill was close to 400.00 bucks, plus 18% tip included automatically! For cooking our own food! Left still hungry, and with little left in the wallet for a small over rated amount of food. Do not waste your hard earned money on this mis-leading, grossly over-priced place.

Fun and decent wine selection, but seriously overpriced.
