“Great Wings”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 May 2014

Coal fired pizza is very tasty. Great selection and surprisingly nice atmosphere. Friendly and attentive staff and homey feel. Great wings, very zesty. Have had takeout many times on way home and never been disappointed.

“Rainy Sat. afternoon”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 April 2014

I have been wanting to try this place for a while as I Love chicken wings so convinced my husband to go today. We sat at the bar and had some sangria which was good but a little sweet for me. Ordered wings and a pizza.......hate to say it but the wings were a little disappointing. Nice taste but not crispy like I like them, did like the fact that they came with sautéed onions and flatbread. The pizza had a nice thin crust and was cooked perfectly but was just average tasting. The service was very good, friendly bartender who was attentive without being overbearing. Overall, I am glad that we tried this place but wont rush back.

“Best chicken wings and pizza in Bostonarea”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 February 2014

Best coal fired chicken wings I ever had in my life. They are marinated in rosemary, lemon, olive oil and remained juicy. They are served on flat bread. I love their pizza too. Pizza has no oily feeling, so I don't feel guilty eating here at all. I always ask for fresh 'basil', which enhances your pizza flavor and it's a free topping!! I also love their Sangria. Been here hundred times.

“Yummy Pizza!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 February 2014 via mobile

Famous for the coal fired wings and pizza so we ordered both!
Wings were seasoned well and very tender. We ordered pizza with roasted peppers and sausage and that was a huge hit!!!
Menu is a bit pricey but pleased we tried it out!

“Great Wings and Solid Pizza in Saugus”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 January 2014

It had been a few years since we'd been to Angela's and stopped in on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. The place itself is looking a little tired -- the scratched up Naugahyde in the booths, the prints slipping down in their frames. A make-over is probably in order. Unfortunately there's nothing they can do about the view out onto Route 1.

But the food remains excellent. The marinated wings with caramelized onions will quickly make you forget about your standard buffalo wings. They're big and meaty and full of flavor. The pizza is also very good with a thin, slightly chewy crust, singed just enough to give it some extra flavor. As others have noted, the salads are nothing too special and our House Italian was swimming in oil. But if you're coming here, salad is probably not your top priority. Service was friendly and efficient.
