Hosts Sally and Paul Edwards welcomed us and shared their knowledge of Luray, tourist sites and restaurants, with us. The Mayneview's central location to Civil War sites in the Shenandoah Valley was our main enticement and we discovered that Luray Caverns with its superlative auto and valley-life museums are a definite stop. Restful nights and ample breakfasts with early morning walks around the property made for a very enjoyable stay.
