“Informative Ramble”
Reviewed 13 August 2014

Spent a couple of hours walking quietly through the woods and thanks to the excellent guide on totem poles lent to me from the centre I was well informed on the background to totem poles.

“Good stop on any tour ”
Reviewed 9 August 2014 via mobile

Excellent stop and a must see. There is much to do, such as a trail through the rainforest and many museum type rooms. The kids found this as a very enjoyable stop.

“Beautiful”
Reviewed 6 August 2014

Sitka has some of the most beautiful hiking trails and Totem Park is one of them. Totem Park is an easy hike. Very flat land. No climbing uphill necessary.

The museum inside is interesting. It has some native art, history, and etc.

I just wish they had more historical site explanations in the park.

And the best part is it is FREE! Pack a sack lunch and eat on the beach.

“Walk the trails and enjoy the park do not pay to go inside the Park Service building”
Reviewed 6 August 2014

The toilets in the building are free. The park is worth your time, it is a nice walk thru an old growth forest. Take your time. Avoid the rotting Pink Salmon in late Aug. and Sept. That is also the time the bears are more obvious. They are not interested in you, they are there for the fish.
