This is my seventh stay at the Westmark for an annual fishing trip. They have replaced the shuttle van and now do not have to make several trips from the airport. The check-in was smooth and the clerk was friendly and efficient. The room is outdated, but does have a nice flat screen TV, Refrigerator and WI-fi (though it was spotty coverage). The towels are slightly better than before, but the bed is getting a little long in the tooth. (though the sheets now actually cover the bed) Now for the inconsistencies: Dinner in the restaurant was terrible and service was poor while the breakfast buffet was good (thought the variety never changed) and the service great. The clerk at check-in was great as was the night clerk, but one in the afternoon was clueless and screwed up our room access and it took three trips to the desk to clear up. You never knew what you would get for room service, one day one bed had 5 pillows and the other had 1, one day we had 4 water glasses and another day 2, one day we had no coffee cups. It became a game trying to guess what we would be missing each day. The hotel also changed the airport shuttle service time to go to the airport and now you would arrive too late to claim your fish and check-in. We tried to get the shuttle to go earlier (there were 8 of us) and they refused saying they were using the shuttle for something else. (The van stayed parked out in front of the hotel and never moved). You just never know what you are going to get when you stay at the Westmark.
