The food is great but overpriced. The hostess, manager and wait staff never smile. They seem to be terribly unhappy people, but the food is excellent if you don't mind the priceyness.

I went to Springfield College, just down the road from Ginger Blossom. We made it one of our spots to go for some really decent sushi and food. I have to admit, before college, I despised sushi and didn't trust it. Coming here with friends I developed a love for sushi and grew to love it! they have some excellent lunch menus/specials as well. They were fast with take out too, working on the ambulance we would swing by and grab our sushi. The atmosphere is really nice, they try their best to keep it nice.

Our daughter goes to Western New England University and she introduced us to this wonderful find for Chinese food, the Ginger Blossom. We've been there 3 or 4 times and it's always good. If you didn't know it was there, you'd drive right past it, so use your Tom Tom or google directions because it sits behind a Wings place and is part of a little strip mall, which makes it very deceiving. The portions are large and very reasonably priced (lemon chicken and the happy family are 2 of our favorites, although my daughter always orders the pork fried rice.) The staff are always super friendly, polite and attentive. The food is always hot and delicious. A college visit weekend can get fairly pricey in a hurry, but dinner at the Ginger Blossom is always a treat that never breaks the bank. And, there are more choices for entrees than you could ever try in an entire year... you won't be disappointed :)

We (4 adults - 2 Retired) won't be returning. There was a large piece (1/2-3/4") of glass in the food that the Manager acknowledged was "probably a broken piece of china" AFTER one adult ingested the glass in his meal and coughed it up into his napkin. 2 of the waiters were apologetic and offered the affected party a free meal while the Manager insisted that the entire meal including the dish WITH the GLASS IN IT be paid for in full. We asked for the name of the Owner and he refused to provide it. The Board of Health, Ambulance and Police were contacted. Other patrons commented on the size of the glass and mishandling by management. There are safer restaurants with good food available in the area!
