We live only a few blocks away. As parks go it's about average size, but it's certainly nothing near say Central Park in NYC. It has many paths, straddles a local museum, houses a city pool and has a handicap accessible tree house. It abuts a path that trails along a rather impressive gorge, and passes by a small waterfall along the way. There are a number of gazebos available (for rent) for events, and there's nearly an event each week of the summer. There are no ball fields, but there are lots of trees. If you're in Scranton, and are looking for a place to cook out, play catch and just rest under a tree then this is for you.
