“Not bad, but not great”

The Museum was not at all bad for a local museum, but I really would have liked to see much more detailed anthropological information that the rather cursory nature of what is offered.

“Plan to return next trip.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 August 2014

We didn't get a chance to visit on our last trip to Flagstaff, but enjoyed it very much last year. Exhibits of wildlife, prehistoric fauna, early settlement of Northern Arizona, First Americans' culture - a lot to take in. Gift shop with quality selection.

“Comprehensive Overview of the Land & People”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 August 2014 via mobile

We enjoyed the few hours we spent learning more about the topography, early native cultures and art. My favorites were the art, jewelry, weaving displays and pottery. Our friend who grew a thriving business trading with talented Native Americans recommended the museum to us. Time well spent!

Also loved the 1935 stone building.

Beautiful setting, fantastic collection. I love this treasure of a museum for it's doability... not overwhelming. Neat, neat, neat place! Gift shop is fabulous! Nothing to dislike.
