“Great family visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 March 2014

Took my 11 and 14 year old here to snowboard and ski, respectively. We live in Michigan, so they love visiting the mountains to ski. Put them on the intermediate lift to start them out, it was 14 minutes going up! My 14 year old was able to figure out how to get over to another lift and then ski back around to the bottom of the intermediate lift, probably at least a 1.5 mile run. The longest run here is 2 miles. Unfortunately it's not been a good winter, the only snow in the area was the snow they were making every night on the slopes, so the snow was slushy/icy. Kids had a great time, though, the wifi was good in the lodge, food was decent but overpriced (as usual) and there really are no food options once you are up there. Midweek was empty, no lines, and even on Friday, when it was quite a bit busier, it was still very efficient. Staff all very friendly. My older son rented skis (because I didn't know if we'd have a rental car they'd fit into!) and that was a fairly quick process, though he didn't feel the skis were really sharpened up enough. We stayed at their "ski lodge" which is a total dive but got us half off their lift tickets (see other review for info on that!).

“Two great days skiing”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 February 2014

A family of 5 travelling from UK. We had two great days skiing, rental service was very efficient and good value, when combined with two-day lift passes. Slopes were pretty much empty, no lift queues and great lift staff who were very friendly and cheerful (the French could learn a thing or two). Snow conditions were OK, but not all slopes open due to lack of usual snow for February. However the kids, 14, 13 and 8 loved it.

It’s great to hear your family had a fun time on our slopes. We've had an exceptionally dry winter, but with our new snowmaking system we've been able to keep a majority of our runs consistently open. We have a lot of pride in our staff for being exceptionally friendly, and we’re glad you were able to experience Snowbowl’s excellent customer service. We hope to see your family back next season!

Woman's Wednesday was great! Semi-private lessons and lunch for only $19 for pass holders. It's a great deal . Thank you to the women instructors, Katherin and Linda. Enjoyed myself and learned some good stuff.

“Great home town place to ski”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 February 2014

The staff are so friendly. A wonderful place to ski and enjoy nature.
No lift lines....fluffy snow and caring ski patrol. I will definitely return.
Make sure you order the chicken fingers with fries from the Agazzi restaurant at the top: DELICIOUS,
You also have a fire pit and chairs to enjoy the view outside.
Make this a stop if you are in Flagstaff, Arizona in the winter it will refresh your trip and keep you in shape.
