Took my 11 and 14 year old here to snowboard and ski, respectively. We live in Michigan, so they love visiting the mountains to ski. Put them on the intermediate lift to start them out, it was 14 minutes going up! My 14 year old was able to figure out how to get over to another lift and then ski back around to the bottom of the intermediate lift, probably at least a 1.5 mile run. The longest run here is 2 miles. Unfortunately it's not been a good winter, the only snow in the area was the snow they were making every night on the slopes, so the snow was slushy/icy. Kids had a great time, though, the wifi was good in the lodge, food was decent but overpriced (as usual) and there really are no food options once you are up there. Midweek was empty, no lines, and even on Friday, when it was quite a bit busier, it was still very efficient. Staff all very friendly. My older son rented skis (because I didn't know if we'd have a rental car they'd fit into!) and that was a fairly quick process, though he didn't feel the skis were really sharpened up enough. We stayed at their "ski lodge" which is a total dive but got us half off their lift tickets (see other review for info on that!).
