“Would stay here again”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 April 2013 via mobile

We stayed here for one night before visiting the Grand Canyon. It is an all-around beautiful hotel with a great mountain view on one side of it. The girl at the front desk was very kind and accomodating, as we requested a new room with a better view. Didn't get a chance to use the hot tub because it was over-packed with people. Would be nice if they had a complimentary continental breakfast. But no big deal because we got to try some awesome local place for breakfast instead. It was a good hotel overall with nicely decorated rooms and friendly staff.

My family and I recently completed a short stay at the Flagstaff Courtyard. This was our first visit and given we were only there for one night, on our way up to the Grand Canyon, I will limit my comments to a brief summary of positives and negatives.

Positives:
Rooms: Nicely updated in accordance with recent Courtyard renovations. We had a double queen room and plenty of room to spread out (for a Courtyard), with mini-bar nook area.

Property: Large lobby with ample gathering areas. Outside courtyard had nice firepit and plenty of comfortable chairs.

Location: Located near a few major highways and a view of the twin peaks, made for a decent (easy on/off) location when heading to Grand Canyon area.

Service: from the call early in the day to offer a room which suited our needs better (two beds vs. a king), to check-in and checkout, very friendly and accommodative staff.

Negatives:
• Location. Right near intersection of relatively noisy road and highway. Even on the highest floor, traffic noise was loud.

In summary, if coming through Flagstaff again, would definitely consider this hotel. Staff was very friendly, accommodative, property was very clean (like new), with many good features. Easy to access off the highway as well.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of the mountains, preferably away from the main road. Not an issue with...

Our room was clean with a very comfortable bed. It had a refrigerator, coffee pot with condiments, hair dryer. Nice size television (channels change very slowly, might be a cable problem) and wardrobe. We had plenty of room and it was nicely decorated. View of snow capped mountain. Hotel is very close to freeway. (no traffic noise - only from the people above us). A very short drive to downtown Flagstaff for shopping. There are many restaurants and fast food establishments in the area. The location is great. We would definitely stay again when in Flagstaff. Enjoyed our comfortable stay. .

Room Tip: Handicap room had shower and seat within tub. No walk- in.

THe hotel is very nice/new. Good room, good front desk, but nothing outstanding.

Breakfast was questionable at best. Courtyard breakfast buffets are usually good....skip it here.

Drive to Sedona and Grand Canyon for activities. You can also ski locally.

Room Tip: ask for a view

Excellent hotel, clean, and staff are friendly especially the one who checked us in( March 21st after 8pm) . Does not offer free breakfast, but we were givin free breakfast with government or travel agent discount. Indoor pool and and great location not to far from the freeway and so many restuarant near by. We will difinitely stay in this hotel.

Used this hotel as a base to tour the Grand Canyon and Sedona.

Pros:
Location is excellent. Close to the interstates.
New rooms, nice lobby area.
Pleasant front desk staff.

Cons
Rooms are small.
No safe in the room.
I had two consecutive reservations and housekeeping thought I was checking out after our first night so our room wasn't cleaned.

Would stay here again.

A very clean modern Courtyard that shockingly actually has a courtyard of sorts in the middle. The facility is very well maintained, clean, and pleasantly decorated.

My only complaint is room size, as the room we occupied was closer in size to a room you'd expect to get in Manhattan, not Flagstaff.

The location in convenient to the interstate and chain restaurants, but I'd suggest going to downtown for a more unique experience.
