My husband and I were travelling with a the 50th Mustang Pony Drive and this is one of the locations that was giving discounted rates. The location was very scenic. The water-themed decor was very peaceful and relaxing. The front desk and breakfast staff were very helpful and courteous. The room was comfortable and very well stocked with amenities. One of the best designed suites we have ever stayed in!!!

We stayed in the Flagstaff Springhill for one night on our Southwest trip.

We were greeted by a very friendly person at the front desk who have special attention and a gift for being a Marriott elite member - that kind of service is unheard of at Springhill Suites!

The room was comfortable and the location was great for our purposes - right off I-40 and convenient to Rt. 66.

One minor complaint - the breakfast area seemed inadequate for the number of people there; we couldn't get seats together - maybe we were there at a particularly busy time. Also, there was only one waffle maker which slowed things down. These shortcomings were made up for with a very friendly breakfast staff.

Our family made a trip to the Grand Canyon, we stayed here 2 nights. When we checked in we noticed a family with 2 dogs, I did not know that it was a pet friendly hotel. Chelsea checked us in and I asked if we could be on a floor with out any dogs, she very politely changed our floors with no questions or issues. Our room was very spacious enough room for a family of 4. Lots of dividers for privacy, in the bathroom, closet, desk etc. the beds were decent however the pull out sofa bed had seen better days, not very comfy even for our 11yr old. The breakfast was great, lot of options and fresh! All the staff we encountered were very friendly!! One thing I will make note of is there are tons of large tour bus groups that stay at all the area hotels, during our stay here there was a group of students from Germany high school age when we were in the same area with them, they tended to invade that area i.e. the breakfast area & pool. Overall it was a very good experience. would stay here again!

Nice clean rooms, good size, friendly service, kid friendly breakfast. Slow internet, but works okay. This is a nice location that is convenient to the university and downtown. It would be nice to have a few more healthy options with the breakfast such as plain yogurt and hard boiled eggs.

We had a two night reservation, but when we were checking in, we saw a family walking in with two dogs. The hotel allows pets, but confirmed with us that it does not state that anywhere on the Marriott website. The hotel told us they didn't have any rooms that an animal hadn't stayed in. Since our child has asthma, and is allergic to cats and dogs, we were now in a situation where it was evening and we were basically SOL.
The person at reception called the nearby Coutyard (which is a "non pet friendly" hotel). Of course, we now had to pay a higher rate, and breakfast wasn't included.
While I appreciated what the reception person did, we thought the whole situation could have been avoided if Marriott had been upfront on its website. We would have made reservations with another brand weeks before.
This is a "we don't care" attitude from corporate.

There are many things to like about the hotel, especially the complimentary breakfast that is quite robust, and the friendliness of the staff. They must go out of their way to hire these people, because they are true gems.

The sofabed in the suite did not comfortably sleep my teen and preteen kids. Also, we were fighting with the temperature guage all night because it just felt like the heat didn't stay on long enough. And the first night, the sleeper sofa looked like it wasn't changed when we pulled it open.

Apart from that, the location was great, the staff was responsive, the exercise room was more than decent, and the room was overall very clean, if a little cramped for a family of four. The wifi was fairly good too, as was the fridge and microwave, and this saved us a little $$. I'm glad they had a rolling luggage carrier. They could have used maybe one or two more, but I'm just nitpicking.

I would stay here again.

We stayed in a king suite clean and lots of space. Good location for both the 17 and 40. Room was quiet and near the stairs. Staff was friendly and efficient. Housekeeping great and really friendly. Dog area small but we always go for runs and this place is in the perfect spot. If you head out the lobby towards the WalMart (south I think) right across the street is the entrance to the Flagstaff urban trail. Sort of dirty by the WalMart but is an awesome trail beyond. about 3/4 mile walks near the road then turns into beautiful piney trail. We went 2.5 miles from the hotel is wonderful. Not super busy some dogs, people and bikes.

Room Tip: Most rooms must be pretty good we were on the second floor and by the stairs. No noise or issues.
