I stayed in this hostel for a couple of nights during the winter of 2012 and found it comfortable enough, warm and a good place to interact with fellow-travellers, two of whom I drove to the Canyon with after the hostel-organised tour was under-booked to run.
The kitchen was fine, breakfast adequate and beds and bathrooms ok.
The free pick-up from the Greyhound terminal was welcome and the short early-morning walk to the train easy and safe.
One of the best things about this hostel is the fact it is located in downtown Flagstaff which is a cute little town on Route 66 with several good eateries and interesting shops.
I'd stay here again and recommend it.More
