We woke up to bed bugs crawling up the walls. When we told the desk clerk he made it clear that he was aware they had bed bugs. We had to find a hotel for the next night during parents weekend at NAU, and they refused to help us. We expected them to pay for our other accommodations, but they refused. We have left 3 messages for the owner and she refuses to return our call. The hotel is disgusting and run down. The blanket is about as thick as a sheet, and the lamps flicker.

My husband and I have stayed here many times in the same room 115 and never had a problem, but this time on our way to Hawaii, we stayed for one night before leaving from the Flagstaff airport. He woke up with several bites on his neck and arms. We have seen many bed bug bites as we live and work at the Grand Canyon, and the internationals bring in the bugs, so we know what the bites look like. I have rated this motel many times, as we like to stay here because of the location, but don't think we will be back!!! What a shame!! It is a good motel in a good location. Close to lots of restaurants and bars, walking distance to most, just a short cab ride to downtown. Hope they clean it up!!!!!!!!!!!

Room Tip: Check for BUGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thought reasonable until several families found bed bugs so now am doing laundry to make sure did not bring home with us. Make sure you bring flip flops because the moment I walked to the bathroom from the bed my feet were black!! So, not one of us could go without shoes, not fun....but the bed bugs were the worst. One of our friends son had over 50 bites on him!!! they were nice about moving you to another room, but it made it hard to sleep for feer. When we inspected the matresses they were not even bagged which is the easiest and least expensive way to deal with the problem. This was 12 rooms we all rented for a soccer tournament!!

Our stay was okay, but the room was a little strange. The sink by the shower was a pedestal, and had no counter space for toiletries. There was a bar countertop just outside of the bathroom, so you have to go back and forth from the counter - to get your products - and the sink where the mirror is. Also, there was no desk for our computer. We elected not to use the indoor pool/spa area because it was detatched from the hotel and we would have had to travel back to our room through the outside cold air while we were wet. Also, the pool area is not nearly as nice at the photo makes it look. It's dingy and so was the room. Not filthy dirty, just dingy - in need of paint and general upkeep.

Room Tip: Find a nicer hotel if possible.

We booked this hotel 6 weeks in advance for a soccer tournament , only because every other hotel was booked. I read the reviews and knew we should stay here, but with no other options we did it anyways. The room had the worst musty smell... and an old hotel is okay, but not one that needs repairs and is dirty. The carpet was coming away from the wall, drain was clogged with someone else's hair, the sink was loose from the wall, the sheets stunk and I didn't see one housekeeper. The breakfast they promise: the food was all was gone by 7am. The desk attendant did replenish when asked, and they only had a few tables . They are not equipped to handle many guests. My son and his friends saw a huge rat just outside one of the rooms and my daughter told me she felt like she was dirtier after her shower. In fact , we were so worried about the conditions of the hotel we couldn't even sleep. Never again.

Room Tip: Don't stay here
