Conifer House Inn

My husband and I stayed here our last night on a road trip from Chicago to Los Angeles....we were married along the way in Santa Fe, New Mexico and were hoping for a clean, relaxing last stop between New Mexico and home. This was definitely it and more. We stayed in the Nantucket room, which was tastefully decorated, no extra nonsense cluttering the room, unbelievably comfy bed and robes, a nice wine selection and yummy homemade cookies. The room, as well as the overall Inn accommodations were pristine, with a thorough attention to detail. We were the only guests at The Conifer House that night and I can't figure out why someone would stay anywhere else in Flagstaff. The grounds were also nice with a woodsy walking path close by...and breakfast....delicious! Stay here. You will love it.

We stayed in the Chelsea Garden room for a one night mini-vacation to Flagstaff. The room was cute, decorated with lots of trinkets. The bathroom was a nice size with a large jacuzzi tub. I ordered the chocolate-covered strawberries, figuring they would be store-bought. I had no idea they would be hand-dipped...SOOO GOOD! We also appreciated the complimentary wine, water, and snacks. We had plans to wander around the town, but we ended up just staying in the room sipping wine and nibbling on the delicious strawberries. The breakfast was great: fresh fruit, muffins, and a homemade breakfast burrito. It really got our day started right. Our host was very friendly and gave us a great history of the property. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here on our wedding night and it couldn't have been a better experience. They provided us with some fun little extras and even made us a breakfast basket so we could sleep in the next day and not have to attend breakfast. We are so grateful we found this retreat and can't wait to spend our anniversaries here!

Room Tip: The Chelsea Garden room was such a little retreat. It has a wonderful tub!

My husband took me on a surprise weekend getaway for my birthday and it was the first time we visited a bed and breakfast together. We loved our room which had a fireplace and two person jetted tub. The owner was extremely friendly and a gracious host. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed the snacks, drinks (soda and wine) and games that were available. We definitely recommend The Conifer House Bed and Breakfast and will return ourselves!

We have been staying at the Conifer House for many years. It is in a great location just a bit out of the downtown area in a nice neighborhood. The rooms are spacious with nice beds, a big bath and a fireplace. There are nice areas to sit outside as well as a large living room space. Lauren makes a great breakfast and has complimentary wine in the afternoon. There is also a refrigerator that you can use and free wifi. You can head out on foot and hike the local trail or just walk the neighborhood. The ski area is close and it is 5 minutes to town. Also there is a great coffee shop within walking distance. We like the Ponderosa room best but they are all good.

We stayed one night in the Bungalow room. Beautiful room (though I want to try a different room next time). The bed was super comfortable. Clean room. The jacuzzi tub was really nice. The shampoo/lotion smelled wonderful. I loved the added little touches---welcome cookies, chocolates on the bed. We borrowed one of her movies to watch in our room. (The TV was flaky though, but we told her about it, so I imagine it's fixed now.) Breakfast was delicious and she was accommodating of dietary needs. There is a nice yard in the back with seating to sit and enjoy the Flagstaff outdoors. Each room has an entrance from the beautiful courtyard area.

This is the place to stay for a romantic getaway where you don't mind driving to go somewhere. We took the Snowbowl ski lift which was nearby and really nice in the summer!

My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 4 year anniversary. This was a nice, quiet location in Flagstaff, yet close enough to downtown. Everything was CLEAN, tidy, and romantic. There were lights set up on a gazebo for couples to sit and enjoy the evening. The owner, Lauren was extremely kind and helpful. She prepared a breakfast to-go for us the following morning, since we left early to go hike the Grand Canyon. Lauren was considerate of my dairy allergy and very accommodating. The jacuzzi was an added plus!
