We just returned from Arizona with a stop-off in Flagstaff. We picked Conifer house from the trip advisor site reviews and were not disappointed. Although located in a suburban setting, there was quick access to the historical center of town and had the advantage of being extremely quiet and peaceful. We stayed in the Nantucket room which had lovely views into the trees and had a private entrance. Both bedroom and bath were spacious and spotless and Lauren was very helpful in giving directions to restaurants and places of interest. Breakfast was delicious-fresh coffee, juice, baked items, and a hot dish.

We have just returned from 3 days at the Conifer House.
After months of planning a wedding, my new husband and I could not wait to get away for some relaxation.
We stayed in the Kensington room and just loved it. The room was very cosy. The gas fireplace and 2 person jacuzzi was a big plus.
The inkeeper Lauren was very familiar with the area and things to do. She's an excellent hostess and an excellent cook too!!
The place was quiet (and not to far from the city of Flagstaff).
I definately would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a nice quiet getaway.

My husband and I stayed here 8th - 14th Sept. as part of a longish trip to USA. Even before we arrived Lauren had been really helpful with suggestions/directions etc but then she is an Innkeeper who thinks of everything! From the bathroom goodies to the tasty (and often just what we needed after a day outdoors) cookies, the room was all we needed, and then some. We stayed in 'Nantucket' and found it very comfortable.

The breakfasts were varied and always delicious and filling. And there was always some interesting conversation about places visited and how to spend the day, from Lauren and also other guests.

From quite early and until 10pm the Guest Services room provided tea/coffee/hot chocolate, snacks, videos and books. Also there was a wealth of information about the area available in the Breakfast Room.

The property is situated on the outskirts of Flagstaff so away from the noise of the trains and a plus point if, like us you live in a rural area with little traffic and are used to quiet nights. It's just a few minutes drive to Downtown Flagstaff and we tried various restaurants there, sometimes following Lauren's recommendations, sometimes following our instinct. We found Flagstaff to be an excellent base for visiting Grand Canyon/Oak Creek/Sedona/Waputki/Walnut Canyon, etc and Conifer House the perfect spot to come 'home' to each evening.

We stayed for 3 nights in the Nantucket Suite at Cedar House in Sept and loved it. The house is decorated and maintained to a very high standard. The bed was very comfortable. We particularly liked having direct access to our room from the parking lot which made it very easy for transferring luggage, etc, and you didn't have to worry about disturbing other guests if coming home late. Breakfasts were huge and absolutely delicious. Lauren is a wonderful cook and a great host. We have already recommended this B&B to many friends and would definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.

My husband and I were truly impressed with the hospitality and professionalism of the Conifer B&B. Lauren is the ultimate hostess and the amenities provided were spa quality with all the comforts of home. We especially appreciated the little touches...drinks and snacks available around the clock, the gift in our room to celebrate our Babymoon, the huge bathtub, and the home-made cookies every day. We will definitely want to stay there again and will recommend it to all of our friends and family!

My husband and I stayed at the Conifer House for our "Babymoon" recently. We knew this trip would be our last until our baby is born so we wanted a very relaxing but also adventurous trip. Flagstaff was the perfect place and Conifer House was so accommodating. We took a day trip to Grand Canyon, explored downtown restaurants, took a scenic skyride up the AZ snowbowl, and had a picnic at the Walnut Canyon National Monument.
Our innkeeper, Lauren, was so informative and made our stay so special. We were left w. treats in our room each night and there was a community refrigerator that was stocked with lots and lots of goodies. Not only did we have access to tea/coffee anytime of day (closes at 10pm), but there was a large selection of movies for us to take into our rooms to watch. How wonderful!!
Thank you Lauren for everything! We will not forget our trip.

We arrived after a day of driving and sight seeing in Northern Arizona. The Conifer House B & B is easy to find and within driving distance to historic downtown and other parts of Flagstaff. We had no trouble getting around town in the evening. Our hostess, Lauren, welcomed us with cookies and a tour of the property. Our room was large and comfortable. We enjoyed the cool air, scent of the pines, and the quietness of the community where Conifer House B & B is located. Slept well in a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was very tasty and filling!
