“A better Marriott in Flagstaff”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 September 2011

Having spent one night in the awful Marriott Residence Inn at Flagstaff, AZ, we switched to the Fairfield Inn in Flagstaff, AZ. So glad, too. This was a cleaner, newer and less expensive place. The am breakfast was pretty standard but good.

Only two complaints was size ofnthe tiny bathroom but a not too bad. I'll take clean over sIze the other shortcoming was the unusually snippy female who checked me in. A later encounter didn't prove to be any better either. I asked her to confirm the night's rate and it was about $30 more than whatnI had booked it for. Luckily, I had a print-out of the confirmation and rate and she asked to see it. Onlyntjen did she make the rate change.

Otherwise, I was just glad to be out of the Ri in Flagstaff!

The rooms at this Fairfield Inn were very small. It was a good stay and we were comfortable but we were expecting better from a Marriott hotel.

The rooms are not very big but they're clean and nicely appointed. The beds were really comfortable so it was hard to get up in the morning. Stuff was professional and welcoming. The hotel was great for the price.

We toured the Grand Canyon and went to Flagstaff to overnight. We've stayed at many Fairfield's but this had to be among the smallest rooms we've ever had. The bathroom had virtually no room for those sundries that you travel with. The room and bathroom were clean' The bed was comfortable. There was a mini fridge. Water pressure was good. I'm not exactly small but fortunately my wife is. It was a dance whenever we passed each other. The breakfast was a usual motel offering.

I found the Fairefield Inn a pleasant hotel to be in. It is very easy to find right off the main road coming in west. It is set back just far enough away from the road that you notice no noise. The hotel is very calm with a Jacquzzi and swimming pool. The rooms are just right for a traveling couple with high speed internet. It has a good breakfast buffet..one of the best that I have seen. We will come back!

We found this hotel through the discount coupons at the Welcome Centre. It was very clean; the complimentary breakfast was good and the staff were very professional. If we ever return to Flagstaff, we will definitely say here again.

My husband & I stayed at the Fairfield Inn for one night on our way home to San Diego from Colorado Springs. It had been a long day of driving. The room was clean, comfortable & the bed felt wonderful. Yes, it was small but we live in a condo so "small" is our norm! For a family with children it would be too small. The bathroom was small but because the sink was located outside of the bath area it was workable. We were in an outside room on the 2nd floor & found it to be very quiet. We were near the EXIT stairs which may have accounted for the quietness. We were also able to park our car close to the room.

It is located conveniently near restaurants. The Sizzler next door had an excellent salad bar. There was also a Coco's & a Mexican restaurant near by.

The continental breakfast was more than we expected. There were waffles, breakfast sandwiches, low fat yogurt, cereal, fruits plus a lot more. It was hard to choose what to eat. This would be a plus for families on a budget as breakfast out can be expensive.
