Start at the Visitor center which is located at the Railroad Depot where the Amtrak comes in. There is a museum and store there and the staff is helpful with providing information. Request a map outlining the historic downtown area which also lists the majority restaurants, stores, attractions. The Chamber of Commerce is right next door if you want more information. We walked the entire historic district in about an hour. There are interesting shops, the Heritage Square park, and lots of unique areas to explore. There is one public restroom in the center of the historic district. We had lunch at Fratelli's and it was delicious.

It is a wonderful area to walk around and check out the sites. There are small stores to pop in and see local creations for sale. Very friendly and easy to explore area.

“Downtown Flagstaff”
Reviewed 19 August 2014

It was a great historic district. We walked around and ate dinner and shopped some afterwards. Next time we will save more time for the railroad section.

Lots of history and fun things to see. Enjoyed eating at Lumberyard Brewery and seeing the train station outside our window.
