“Good for dinner”
Reviewed 12 August 2014

Visited this restaurant once, in early August. It is within easy walk from Comfort Inn hotel.

Some of the prices first.

New York sirloin - $ 25.95
Sea scallops - $ 20.95
Shrimps - $ 7.50
Cheesecake - $ 5.50
Water and bread - complimentary
Bottle of Zen of Zin, Zinfandel wine - $ 29.00

The service was very friendly and efficient. The quality of the food was very good. Zen of Zin wine was exceptionally tasty. We enjoyed every drop of that wonderful wine.

The only problem we encountered was airconditioner working in "Arctic" mode. We got half-frozen...

But, all in all, it was a very good dinner. We would not hesitate to recommend this place for dinner to our friends.

“Good Food”
Reviewed 10 August 2014 via mobile

Busters has been in Flagstaff a long time. Big menu with a lot of choices. We go there every time we are in town. Fried shrimp very good as well as the grilled shrimp. Salmon was excellent. Service by Eric was very good.
They give you big portions with. Plenty of parking available and close to the motels.. By enjoyable dinner. The interior is dated and could use updating. But still recommended

“What happened?”
Reviewed 10 August 2014

I previously reviewed this restaurant with a five-star rating. Everything was fabulous and we couldn't wait to go back. We returned for lunch in June. When entering the building we were hit in the face with an awful rancid seafood smell. I wanted salmon, but didn't dare order fish because of the smell. We asked the waiter about it, and he said he didn't notice, maybe it was just the amount of fish they had cooked that day. Didn't buy it for a second and we heard other tables discussing the smell also. It was shortly after 11am and they had just opened so how much fish could they have cooked? The menu is different for lunch and you can't get a steak. We were disappointed. We both had the steak fajita salad. It was a giant bowl of iceburg, hardly any cheese, a few steak strips and two black olives. Absolutely flavorless. Then we noticed some sort of cooling repairman entering the kitchen. Was a freezer out? Was that the smell? I don't know. A couple weeks later we returned once again hoping to repeat the 5-star experience we had before. We made it to the hostess stand and once again were hit in the face with that rancid seafood odor. We turned and left and probably won't ever go back. What a shame.

“Wow amazing!”
Reviewed 7 August 2014 via mobile

Ordered the spinach & roasted corn dip for an appetizer. We could have eaten our weight in it! We picked apart the ingredients as we indulged so we could try to duplicate it at home. That was followed with French onion soup, clearly made fresh very good. Last we ended with the grilled scallops.. Wow wow wow.. Perfectly cooked & seasoned.
We recommend stopping in, we shared the meal and had leftovers. So glad we stopped in! Keep it up chef amazing!

“Well-kept Secret”
Reviewed 2 August 2014

More than just a bar and grill. We looked for a place to eat within walking distance of our hotel and found this gem. Great bar-food, including lavash, which was unexpected. Friendly service as well.
