“good wranglers”
Reviewed 12 August 2014

Booked on-line 1 hour trail in early August. Because of the rainy weather had to re-schedule it to the next day.

There are some problems with the communications. Once we booked and paid, the management stopped replying to any of our further emails.

Upon arrival to the stables, we were met by wranglers. Signed the waivers, paid in cash to get 10% off and the ride began.

Liz and Mike were great wranglers, with good sense of humor and patience needed to handle even unexperienced riders.

All in all it was a good experience. If their management improved the communications with the customers, I would give 5*.

“lost”
Reviewed 8 August 2014

What would you feel if when you arrive to Rome to visit the colosseum, you find out that your guide just arrived from Marocco, she has never been to the colosseum and she asks you to google about it so to find out more about this place?
Well, that's what happened to me during my 8 hrs riding trip yesterday. The place is amazing, lunch was great, my horse hate me but that's part of the fun but I was put in the hands a super nice lady who is super nice but that's doesn't make her a guide.
No route was planned, we got lost and we came back from the way we came. Someone who is willing to put that much money for 1 day on a horse deserves a better service. But lunch was great!

“Fantastic fun in Flagstaff!”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

What a wonderful ride through the Coconino Forest! We were in Flagstaff for less than 24 hours and decided to go horseback riding. The stables were convenient to our hotel and some good lunch choices so we decided to do the 1 hour ride right before lunch. The trail, and our guide Sarah, took us through a beautiful forest. The landscape changed from open pasture to dense woods and back again. The terrain ranged from grass to dirt to rocks and went up and down hills with tight switchbacks at times. The point is that the ride was really interesting rather than just a smooth ride with no changes in the view. We loved our short ride in the forest. The horses we had were great too. They actually seemed like we were in control of them instead of them just aimlessly following the horse in front of them which was fun too.

Absolutely great time!

“First time riding”
Reviewed 27 July 2014 via mobile

This was my kids first time riding and they really enjoyed themselves. I have a toddler and a teenager and they were both able to ride. Just an fyi GPS tracking doesn't take you directly to the place however was close by I think because there is no service out there that's the reason why. Beautiful scenery and very friendly staff.

“Great family fun!”
Reviewed 29 June 2014 via mobile

Went with my wife, 12 yr old son, and 6 n 3 yr old daughters. 4 of us took the hour long trail ride with Chris, which was relaxing and fun. The girls there took the youngest on a pony ride and then played with her til we got back. Prices were great, ranch was very presentable, horses were well taken care of, and the staff was extremely friendly. Would go back if we're near Flagstaff again.
