These folks know how to do a good basic stay. The beds were comfortable. The pillows were fluffy. The towels were soft and smelled great. The room was clean. The folks at the front desk were kind and friendly. The price is what sold me. So if you want a clean basic room with free Wifi and quiet night . STAY HERE!

Room Tip: Try upstairs, we stayed on bottom floor, a few footsteps overhead.

Comfy bed. Great shower and no lack of hot water. Clean, comfortable room and a quiet location. Micro & fridge really handy. Killer location - walking distance to the best Flagstaff has to offer. Very friendly and professional staff. Coffee in the morning was free and quite tasty. What's not to like about this place? My wife and I have found a new address for those quick getaways to cooler climes!

We decided at the last minute to take our daughter back up to school instead of putting her on the shuttle. All the other places around NAU were full. We usually stay at the Marriott, Hilton or Drury due to location. All booked! We looked around at places that were close and we found this one on expedia. We were leery so we read the reviews and decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised to find a very clean, very quiet room. It's not full of amenities, mind you, but it's a decent place to park yourself for the night. I would be remiss if I didn't mention that there was a fridge, a microwave, and THE fastest high speed internet I have ever used in a hotel! Seriously. The price, cleanliness, and accessibility to the university make this a good choice if you are going to be just staying at night and don't need all the extras. The A/C was super cold too.

We spent just one night here. It was clean and everything worked, so what more can you expect? It's not a place that I'd want to say for a long time but a good stop over.
Go to the Brewery Restaurant, it's great!

We stayed one night at the Highland Country Inn on our cross-country vacation with our two young children.

The room was very small, but the Internet worked well, the room smelled freshly painted, and the mattresses and mattress pads were nice and clean.

On the downside, there was no breakfast included in the price, the floor of the tub was very worn, and the sheets had a couple of permanent looking stains (like black foot marks). The hotel was very full the night we stayed and parking was a bit tight since it's a small property.

It was nothing fancy, but provided a place to sleep just 1 hour from the Grand Canyon at a decent price ($68).
