This experience was spectacular. We formerly stayed in boutique or Ritz-type hotels...this far exceeds the accommodations we typically expect (and our desires are high).

From the moment we checked in, we were treated to top-rate service. We stayed in Suite Nature... a nice, private suite that includes a sitting room, microwave/refrigerator and daybed. Additionally, there is an outdoor sitting area complete with a double rocking seat.

Gordon and Frank, the owners were attentive to all our needs and questions. They led us to great places to eat dinner - Mix (casual salad/soup place) and Brix (nice continental). Gordon also suggested great hiking - beautiful country...

Finally, the "open bar" -- juice, water, wine, vodka (Gordon's of course) and brandy was a nice touch. ...and the breakfast -- homemade and hot -- was delicious -- made us rethink what we are serving ourselves in the mornings at home! Again - the service was fantastic.

Gordon and Frank's hands-on approach to Inn Keeping has earned them this 5 star rating, to be sure!

Room Tip: Suite Nature is a nice choice if you want a bit more privacy - there is a private entrance. The deco...

This was our (my wife and I) first time at this B&B, and boy, were we pleasantly surprised. We booked for the Thanksgiving weekend and even though we did not get the first choice room for our entire stay, the owner Gordon was kind enough to work out an option for us where we get to stay in two different rooms (Southwest and Canyon Memories) for the 2 nights. He even threw in a discount for accommodating us. Once we reached there, we knew we were at the right place - huge bedrooms, very well decorated rooms (both that we stayed in), the whirpool tub (in Southwest) was perfect ! And the breakfast in the morning was finger-licking good ! Gordon even gave us tips for our visit to Grand Canyon which we followed to the T and having a very good day - very knowledgeable about things to do around town. If this is your first time visiting Flagstaff and not sure what to do - talk to Gordon ! All in all - a plus 5/5 experience. Will definitely stay here again and try out a different room, just for the experience !

Room Tip: definitely pick one of the rooms with the whirpool tubs (as a first option) though all of the rooms...

I have stayed here three times and it was perfect each time. Rooms are big, pretty, with great tubs. Close to everything. Very kind owners. The Monet garden room is the best in my opinion. Breakfast is delicious.

My wife and I have stayed at this inn 5 or 6 times now and we have been totally pleased 100% of the time. We have stayed in dozens of B&B's over a few decades and this is one of our favorites and I dare say that a visit here will not "be short of greatness." The rooms are comfortable and spotless. The location is such that one can walk to just about any place in downtown Flagstaff yet 410 is on a very quiet street. Flag is now a quiet zone for trains so that horns no longer are a nuisance while trying to sleep. We only got to stay one night this time so only had one breakfast. As usual it was top notch. There was plenty to eat and everything from the entree to the large fruit salad to the coffee to the juice were excellent. The table settings and the main room in general are very pleasant and attractive. Afternoon snacks and beverages are very generous and a welcome sight upon arrival. There is absolutely nothing "diner-like" about this B&B as one previous reviewer suggests. The breakfast experience is very relaxing and classy. In my opinion it's more sanitary to have the small packs of butter and creamer on tables rather than having large quantities of both just sitting out warming up. Gordon and staff are extremely helpful with first time visitors to Flagstaff and guide them to the better sights and restaurants in the area. This is the only place we stay now when we vacation in Flagstaff.

Room Tip: They are all good but note that if you have trouble with stairs get a first floor room.

Just about everything that the reviewers have said is accurate, but I do have a small gripe. Although the dining area is lovely and the china service is quite nice, and the food is excellent, I do take exception to their serving butter and cream in the ubiquitous prepackaged packets that one would expect to find in a roadside diner or cheap cafe. Not very classy.

Dear Lewshan,
Our table service for breakfast always includes fresh half and half. We serve it on our refreshment table along with our Brazilian Espresso Roast coffee. We have many requests for non-dairy creamer, so we serve International Delight French Vanilla and we also serve Land O’ Lakes mini-moos on the table in a Japanese porcelain bowl. Both are served by some of the best hotels in the world. Our whipped butter is served everywhere as well. On average the Inn used to throw out close to a hundred gallons of fresh half and half per year when we put it on every table in our porcelain creamers. You asked for and we happily served you fresh half and half.

You also requested in advance that we serve lemon ricotta pancakes which we did for you that morning. In fact you had two servings of them along with our Canadian maple syrup, fluffy egg scramble with gouda cheese and Aidell’s chicken apple sausage. We also served our fruit bowl with melons, pineapple, strawberries, blueberries and blackberries along with our fresh juice of the day. Our table service includes Mikasa china, Waterford linens, Towle stainlessware and we always put out Cholula hot sauce, the best on the market. You said in your review “you have a small gripe” and as defined by Webster’s dictionary to gripe is “to complain with grumbling”. I always welcome constructive criticism, but to imply that our table service is “cheap” because we put out non-dairy creamer and packaged butter is a bit over the top.

We have hundreds of comments on Tripadvisor and thousands more in our guest books that pay tribute to our goal of perfection in our personal service and amenities throughout the Inn at 410. I thank all of our many guests who have expressed their opinions on Tripadvisor, we could not be rated #1 without you! I am very proud of our Tripadvisor reviews and they are an inspiration for us to continue to provide what our guests ask for, Excellence.
Respectfully,
Gordon Watkins

Just an unbelievable place to spend some time. The rooms are excellent, extremely comfortable and each one decorated in a unique manner. Gordon is a thoughtful and welcoming host who was very helpful in planning a great trip to the Grand Canyon for us, including recommendation where to get a picnic. Breakfast is superb and other touches such as the cocktail table and snack bar really enhance the 410 experience. Without question one of the best places in which we have ever stayed.
