I thought it was too good to be true when I found this place at such a low price per night. Usually you think there's a catch or a trade off - low price = no bath or continental breakfast or parking or SOMETHING. I was pleasantly surprised. Not only does this hotel have all the amenities you'd want - shower, bath, fridge, microwave, free wifi, plenty of parking, free breakfast, lots of places to eat/get groceries w/I walking distance, and even an outdoor pool once the weather is nicer. What impressed me most about this hotel was that even though I was paying almost hostel rates (CHEAP!!) within 30 minutes of checking in, the front desk called my room to make sure everything in the room was okay. I was so impressed by this gesture and the service I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Thank you for the great stay and excellent staff. I'm not sure what her name was but the girl with the red hair is an awesome employee!

The Flagstaff / Sedona area is expensive for budget travelers like me. This hotel had everything I needed including nice sized refrigerator, micro, coffee, FREE hot breakfast. But what really made my stay here exceptional was the staff. Having been recently injured, I was "stuck" whilst my buddies were in Sedona. I witnessed something in the parking lot (while enjoying a smoke in a well-placed benched smoking area). A distressed, older man, likely homeless, approached and engaged a couple parked in their sedan; he was very close to the driver's open window and was asking for a ride to New Mexico. Almost immediately -- less than a minute later --- the front desk clerk was walking towards the sedan and began talking to the older man. She spoke respectfully, clearly, friendly. She asked him if he was a guest and very politely gave him general road directions to New Mexico. This may sound like an off-beat review but I must say, I have seen encounters similar to this one end VERY BADLY. This time, however, it was this employee's diplomacy and innate sense of common decency that reminded me of how important it is to have and keep fantastic hotel staff. In addition, the housekeepers were so accommodating to my little requests for more coffee, towels, soap, etc. that I needed to keep myself entertained alone in my room all day. From start to finish, this staff is top notch. This carried over to every aspect of my stay: the breakfast area (served inside a Route 66 -style diner AND outside seating) was spotless; the eggs and potatoes were hot & delicious; the room was clean in a way that revealed constant, consistent upkeep, not last-minute rush jobs. The woman's name is Cindy (or Cyndie?) and I would very much appreciate it if you would pass along to her my gratitude for her professionalism and courtesy. Travelodge Flagstaff is a great place to stay. Thank you.
