This was not the typical Embassy Suites. It was a converted motel of an unknown brand. At 4 am the trains started running blaring their horns I thought it was coming right through the room. While that was bad it was made worse as the front desk staff denied there were any trains saying we must have heard the ice machine really. The place was old and dirty. I would recommend you skip this place.

Thank you for providing the feedback on your recent stay. We apologize that your experience did not meet expectations. Typically the trains that come through Flagstaff are quiet as there is an ordinance they are forced to abide by but the trains will blow their horns if they need to alert someone or something. I will address this with our front desk agents so they are aware. Thank you again for your feed back please contact me directly if you have any further issues.

We have stayed at many Embassy Suites over the years. This one was nice. A liitle hard to spot until you know where it is. Not a visible sign you could see coming down the road. Check in was easy. Very polite young lady. Our room was very clean and quiet. The Managers special was decent as far as the drinks. The appetizers were nothing. Chips and salsa, a few vegetables with ranch dressing. Basically they were empty bowls for 45 minutes of a two hour period. The Embassies I have stayed in past had very good appetizers, almost meals.
Breakfast buffett was average at best. Cold. But the cook to order breakfast was good.

Convenient to highways. Great staff. The evening managers reception and the breakfast are two reasons I usually like to go to Embassy Suites, However, this hotel was dirty and disheveled. Dirty furniture band carpets. Heater didn’t work. Faucet loose in bathroom.

Myself and 3 colleagues stayed here for one night in early November '17. Due to one of us being a platinum Hilton member we were granted upgraded rooms (two giant TV's no less!)
The Hotel is in desperate need of a re-fresh and doesn't appear to have been touched since the eighties with quite drab decor. The rooms are spacious and clean enough and the beds were comfortable.
The low point of the visit was the breakfast which was just poor. Most people go for the made to order omelette but that comes with a wait. The alternative was the ruined sausage, bacon and seemingly powered eggs from the buffet. There also isn't a lot of room in the dining area at Breakfast time.
The highlights were the staff. Everyone was warm, welcoming and keen to engage. The happy hour bar was manned by a cheerful chap who we could have talked to for hours and never left us with an empty glass regardless of how full the bar was even though he was on his own.

Thank you for your valuable and candid feedback. Though we typically get positive feedback on our breakfast and the chefs I am sorry to hear your experience was less than satisfactory. I will be following up with necessary individuals to brain storm ideas to better our breakfast experience. I am happy to hear the rest of your experience was pleasant and the front desk gave you and your colleagues upgrades. Please let me know if your ever in the area again, I'd be happy to assist you with future reservations.

Conveniently located in an area with many walkable restaurants, shops, amenities as well as to the local campus. Friendly staff with great advice for night life as well as shopping, and directions for the historic Grand CAnyon and local hikes. We saw Hikers, Fire Fighter Training groups and more taking advantage of the great amenities at the Embassy Suites. The convenience of having the second room while traveling with my son was wonderful
