This was a fairly average hotel experience. The service staff were friendly. The room itself was clean enough but there wasn't much room to move about freely and the shower drain was blocked up. Food at the restaurant was not good at all.

Though we are pleased that you found our staff friendly and the room clean, we are concerned that we failed to 'Wow' you. We take all comments very seriously - we will take a good look at our food and beverage department to address your issues and look for more ways to 'Wow' our guests and hope to have the opportunity to show you in the future that we can and will do better. We appreciate your feedback.

I got a smokin' deal on this hotel through Priceline (I know I sound like an ad, sorry) and so I was very happy with the value of the room, but I think I would be less than thrilled if I had actually paid the full $145 they listed. We got it for about $90 and that's about what it's worth.

Granted, we were in the "south building" so I don't know if that's an older section of the hotel. And Flagstaff hotels in the summer are expected to be pricier.

Ok, the nitty gritty: The room was comfortably clean and that's what is always the number one thing for me. However, you can tell that these rooms are older, from the telephone style to the wearing in the bathroom and carpet. They did have Sleep Number beds, which was highly entertaining. Trust me, you won't be able to resist trying to see how much the bed can inflate/deflate. I could hear some footsteps above me but nothing to disturb any sleeping.

There are two restaurants on site including a Sakura, and there's ample parking. NAU is less than a five minute drive and you can probably walk there in 20 minutes. The neighborhood is nice and of course the smell of pine makes everything just that much better.

You are correct that Flagstaff rates in the summer do go up(though we often offer last minute deals to fans and friends following us on various social sites - so be sure to check those before booking priceline). We are pleased that you had fun with the Sleep Number Beds and that you were comfortable. Know that we have been doing upgrades - you may have noticed the new flatscreen TV in the guestroom with HD (High Def) satellite programming. We take guest reviews very seriously and tend to make the upgrades and improvements that are suggested and requested from our guests. Thanks for taking the time to post and we hope to see you again on another visit to Flagstaff.

Staff was friendly at check in and departure. Room was nice. Nice TV, good channel selection. Nice linen on bed, but half the sleep number bed was broken. Shower pressure was good, nice shampoo and soap provided. Room was clean. Pretty quiet, even though it was fully booked. Easy access to downtown. A/C doesn't work well. The sushi resturant inside the hotel is very good. The woodland resturant is not. Stay away from it both breakfast and dinner.

Stayed at Radisson Woodlands on a trip to Flagstaff/Grand Canyon. This is a nice hotel, but nothing fancy.

We experianced a couple of problems during our stay. First, was that we had no wi-fi internet access in our room. We would have to go to the lobby in order to use the internet. We reported this to the front dest and they would call to have the wi-fi reset but, it still didn't work for us. It wasn't a huge problem as we were just checking emails but, if it were a business trip we would have had a problem. The second our room keys would keep expiring and we would have to keep returning to the lobby to have them reset. Not a big deal but, inconvenient.

The good news is that they gave us a voucher for breakfast in the hotel restaurant. That was unexpected and excellent customer service.

Sakura is a Japaneese style restaurant located within the hotel and is an excellent place for dinner. We enjoyed our dinner/experiance there very much.

Overall, even with the couple of problems we experianced, we enjoyed our stay at Radisson Woodlands and would recommend it.
