Stayed at this hotel for one night during a business trip to Flagstaff. The check in process was slow as there was not enough staff for all the people. The room was very nice with a large bathroom that had a Jacuzzi bathtub. The bed was okay it, was a sleep number bed but did not work. The hotel had a very nice gym with a sauna and Jacuzzi. Internet was free and worked well along with self parking which was free. Check out was once again a little slow as the front desk attendant was taking a phone call making a reservation.

We travelled to Arizona and had a medical emergency that put one of our party in the ICU in Flagstaff. We had to get rooms at this hotel making reservations by 1-800 phone. When we arrived their system was down and the front desk person "couldn't" check us in. After some time, I approached another front desk person who was happy to help us (the one highlight, thank you) even though the other person was telling her I didn't had the right 'whatever'. But this other person was VERY helpful and got us in. Now, the room was nice, but the window literally faced a wall a couple of feet from it. Didn't really need a view, but I noticed later that online reservations on 3rd party sites had this room $30 less a night. The final bill showed that our price was even $20 more per day over the weekend... disappointing considering the view and the service I'm about to detail. Soap for the sink and bath was getting to small to use, but wasn't getting replaced in our week's stay, so I threw them away expecting them to get replaced - they didn't. So, i called guest services (9pm) to get some soap for the next morning and stayed awake until 11pm, but it never came. We washed up the next morning using shampoo. A card in the room stated our satisfaction was their most important job - eh! Certainly not the worst place to stay, but noteworthy to point out these flaws in service in an already disappointing 'vacation' where we spent the week at the hospital instead of the Grand Canyon and Vegas.

Let us first apologize that your Grand Canyon vacation was interupted by the medical emergency. We are sure that it was stressful and disappointing - and based on your comments, the issues during your stay did nothing to alleviate that stress. There is no excuse for the amenities in the guestroom not being replaced, and we are using your review as a training tool for our housekeeping and guest services teams. Service is one of the most important (if not the most important) aspects of hotel operations. It's the reason we read these reviews posted, to find out where we need to make adjustments and focus our attention.
Lastly, we wanted to clarify one item regarding rates. We have a strict rate integrity policy. Rates on all channels - whether calling direct or looking online - are to be exactly the same. We do change rates daily -- so you may see rate changes day over day. Rates, during weekends (especially during busy summer months) DO tend to be higher than weekday rates (Sunday - Thursday). If you see, for some reason, a lower rate online -- please let our front desk team know. We will honor that rate (and correct the issue internally).

Room was ok. Light in bathroom did not work, and after waiting a few hours, and calling again I just went to bed and showered in the morning in the dark. Facilities were fine, but I just wasn't impressed with the service. Breakfast (eggs) was a bit cold.

We had only one night at this hotel, and it was great experience. We got a very nice and clean room, with bed that has variable firmness. Very friendly staff. Great view on the mountain and the trees. If you need a great dinning, try the black bart steakhouse (my wife loved the steak on stick). You will love the place and the singing.

We stayed in 3 rooms for 2 nights
The location is in a quite place and youneed a car to arrive to places in town
The service and help we got from the hotel staff was excellent
The rooms were nice and had lot of space
I think a hotel in this level should have a safe in the room

My wife and I stayed for 2 days. Overall, it was a very good experience and I would recommend it. All staff were very pleasant and helpful. Daniel at the front desk was very helpful. Nancy (lost & found or housekeeping) was also very helpful when I called to check on a few items we left behind...all were turned in by the person that cleaned the room and we were easily able to make arrangements for friends of ours in Flagstaff to pick up our items.

Convenient location..we were able to walk to NAU, to several restaurants and it is generally well located so we could go anywhere in Flag in just a few minutes.

We found a discounted rate through Employee Network that our company belongs to and we very much enjoyed our brief stay.

Rooms are OK. The sleep number bed does not work. A slight dingy smell (I have a sensitive nose) that I can manage. Great flat screen TV with 20 HD channels. Overall decor does not feel fresh. Through Priceline I got a room with two queens for $97 (after fees and taxes). Front staff were nice and check-in was fast. Parking is free. The wireless internet works great for my MacBook Pro. I wasn't that excited about the place, but it did the job for a one night stay.
