“Excellent breakfast”
Reviewed 21 March 2014

This is truly a Super8 Pride, adequate to the expectation you have when you book from this brand: clean, confortable, friendly and a yummy breakfast. A good value a perfect stop on the way to Grand Canyon. Not so easy to reach on car.

The good - The room itself was spacious and clean. We loved the microwave and fridge - WiFi was great. Breakfast was a nice touch , not a great selection but cannot complain about free food - don't like it , don't eat it is my feeling - . Great value for the room itself . Close to the highway . Never heard the train that is close by.
We booked a suite with Two queens and a bunk bed but received a room with 2 queens and a twin size sofa bed .( I specifically requested the bunk bed room for a personal reason.) The manager did absolutely nothing - basically he said it was their error as my reservation was for the bunk bed room in their system as well. We were told sorry nothing we can do but we won't charge you if you want to leave. No offer of a different room, no credit nothing . We had to be somewhere in an hour and did not have time to book a different set of rooms somewhere else. The room itself was fine so we decided to deal with it . The large family suites are in a building in the back of the property . The entrance area is filthy , no security or anything . there were kids running up and down the stairs screaming in the hallways , slamming doors - no parents anywhere and absolutely no staff in this building either . There was no lock on the door of the main entrance to the building . Also be aware there is no elevator in this building .Breakfast was also a melee . Very small section of the front Lobby area - not enough room for such a large motel , again can't complain about that cause it was a bonus. . This was our first stay at a Super 8 and they did lose our future business right from the get go by messing up our reservation, and basically telling us if we didn't like it we could leave. As I stated the room itself was great for the money we paid , clean, spacious and comfortable. Just don't go outside of it ! .The attitude of the staff and lack of safety and supervision of the grounds will keep us from returning in the future I think.

Room Tip: If you have problems with stairs be warned that there is no elevator . The suites are exactly as adv...

Laura, I apologize for the inconvenience in the room booking. Unfortunately when the booking company send the reservation to us; many things can get messed up. We strive to make sure everything is accurate and that all expectations are met. That night we did not have another room to offer you, as we were already sold out. I am sorry to hear that you wont use Super 8.
